I didnt mind the TRUK talk in the beginning.... Moving, Ramen, etc. It was a nice little inside thing among teammates and friends, and it was even somewhat amusing at times (BR Reports). But now its getting out of hand... whether it be people misunderstanding what TRUK is & where it came from, or whether it be random people naming their deck " ____ TRUK" just for the sake of using "TRUK" in something... its getting ridiculous. This is even annoying me, and Im not even a part of the original group of people that started this, so I cant imagine how irritated they must be.

Seriously, shutup. You arent cool if you are some random person and (unrightfully) title your deck "___ TRUK". It doesnt make the original TRUK "drivers" accept you or like you; in fact it does the exact opposite. It just makes you a leech whos trying to be a part of something he can never be... similar to showing up to a party you were intentionally NOT invited to. And nobody wants to be that person. So please, lets stop it before you get to be an even bigger pain.

It's only out of hand because people are taking names that got alluded to (cities/states decks) maybe once or twice on this forum, and trying to tag them onto bad decks, while trying to pass them off as "TRUKs", when they are completely unrelated to the real decks.

If you know the pokemon lines for a cities/states TRUK (after they're played or based on us saying), then it's completely OK to go make a thread in Deck Help forum posting your list for help tagged with the TRUK name (we'll even pitch in with help like here: http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=62154 ), but it's not OK tagging on the name to a random, completely unrelated deck that has nothing to do with a deck that has been mentioned. You can make up your own names, be it TRUK or whatever for decks we haven't mentioned yet, but don't use the names we already have and attach random decks to them.

I agree with finalstain for the most part.
 
Oh, you make the rules on who can used the name TRUK and how they can use it? Get real :rolleyes:

The people that started the whole TRUK thing can now blame themselves for people misusing it. They spread the name, and the name is now a disease. Everyone and every deck is now a TRUK. TRUKs aren't special anymore, and the starters of the TRUK phenomena can now thank themselves for it.
 
If the TRUK decks had actually been posted in any sort of detail when they were first introduced ... even basic stuff like being 100% clear on the pokemon lines uses ... then it's likely that we wouldn't be where we are today. You guys have only yourselves to blame if you really don't like folks stealing the TRUK name.
 
Well there's no law against naming your deck the same as something else... It's just really stupid and shows how much of a scrub you are. =) So please, go on ahead if you wish, but if you're trying to GAIN respect... Don't do it.
 
Of coures, at this point, there are actually folks naming their decks "TRUK" to eitehr annoy the OPs or to make the whole thing look silly. It has nothing to do with gaining respect for those folks. I have to admit being temped to name a few decks something TRUK just to get annoyed responses myself, but have held back so far. :)
 
APT, I'm sorry, do I want your respect? Did I say that? I can care less if I have people's "respect" in this game. And "respect" shouldn't be earned or loss by going with the popular crowd or against it. Respect should be earned by giving respect to others.
 
Respect should be earned by winning Pokemon tournaments, so why doesn't everyone stop griping over this, sit down, and get your decks ready for CCs? Forget what your deck is called, why don't you guys worry about what sixty cards are in the list? =/////////////////////////////////////////////

Respect should be earned by being a good person. Winning Pokemon tournaments does not gain you respect. If thats how you go about gaining respect...well.... maturity and poor judgement might be an issue.
 
You need a valid drivers liscense to drive so no one under the age of 16 can run truk:rolleyes:.

It is getting very old lets end it and replace it with the PM (Poison Mushroom) engine:biggrin:.
 
Its getting kind of annoying, but w/e itll blow by eventually.

lets all focus on Hatter decks now : )
