Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

I think there should be a minimum IQ needed to use the internet.

lol. I don't think that would help. There are people (like me) who do all those things, and they still have a good IQ. Just learn forum talk.

I concur.

Though, I suppose someone will probably make a post talking about how IQ isn't directly proportional to that sort of thing, or something like that.

Why not have an IQ requirement for living? I mean is it really that big of a deal that people use Proper punctuation on the internet? Let's find more pointless subjects to complain about.

IQ is not directly related to factual knowledge.

And while we are at it, lets only allow ppl of IQ x or more to enter a public park. Or Town Meeting.

etc. etc.

If you don't like the way the post, ignore them :x

Is that why you aren't allowed to talk to girls?

YESSS!

we do have a forum rule about writing to be read.
We don't enforce it for minor misspellings, but when a post is unreadable, we do issue penaties.

Maybe then we'll stop seeing people misspelling, abbreviating, and just plain mutilating every word they type.

Oh the irony! You used an abbreviation in your thread title! :nonono: Sorry, I just had to bring that to your attention. You used the abbreviation IQ. Do you know what IQ is an abbreviation for?

What about too many smilies, that can bother me. I don't like to see more than three per post.

Intelligence quotient. And yes, smilies bother me too. And when an abbreviation is in the dictionary, I think it's fine to say in formal conversation.

Unfortunately, freedom of speech exists for even the dumbest of us. :x

Freedom of speech doesn't exist on forums, however. Also, making a minimum IQ cutoff would remove far too many people from the internet. Either way, there's no excuse for an intelligent person butchering his own native language.

Thankfully, it's a documented fact that I'm in a high enough percentile to not have to worry about such IQ restrictions affecting me.
