I've been colecting misprints and miscut cards for a while. Are any of them worth anything or am I just collecting them for fun?

Rocket's Hitmonchan ex. It has a large pink line in the midle of the card. It looks better in real life.

8 very miscut cards from the ex trainer kit. Not only are they miscut on the back but the back of the cards are upside-down.

Pre-release Gabite. It has a nice crimp on the botyum of the card.

Tropius from ex Deoxys. Miscut.

Base set Wartortle. It says "Evolves from Sqirtle" but has a picture of a Wartortle.

Japanese Shining Mew. Slighly miscut.

Empeleon Lv.X tin. The window was put on upside-down. It even covers Empoleon's face on the tin.

Wobbuffet from Sandstorm. Miscut.

The Wartortle is a very rare find

Pokegym Price guide said:
Wartortle (Base Set)
Error
Low 50.00
Avg 100.00
High 200.00
Trade 75.00

This card says "Evolves from Squirtle" (which is normal) but has a picture of Wartortle instead of Squirtle in the evolution box! Very rare. Most guides don't even list this

Okay, that price guide is messed up. $700 for an error Ninetales?

That was the HIGHEST it ever went for. Overall though, the average, and trade prices are pretty close. It's a VERY rare card, and BTW learn to read. The highest price on that card is $500.

$700 is on the dark persion. If you look at the other prices you will see they are not as high.

Before using the price guide I suggest reading this (specifficaly the bottom half)

I agree with charmander rox, I've seen the error Ninetailes sell for about $30 a few times in the last year. I've also seen the error Dark Persian sell for around $40. Unless the price has gone up drasticly in the last few months then something is wrong here.
I'll stop posting about this as it is getting kind of off-topic.

no no, you misunderstand. The "High" is the highest that the card has ever sold ever. So while the Persion is useally at a 35-40 dollar value, during one instance it sold up to $700 because so many people wanted it. It may have been that only 5 people sold cards for that much. Agan read what is at the beginaing of the price guide.

High: This reflects what you would expect to pay in a store. It might also reflect the high end of online auctions, especially for rarer, more desirable items

I read it. I understand now. I don't really see why they even beed a "High" section. It just confuses people and it doesn't really help any. Unless you want random info.
