GLUE (Gallade/Lucario)

The List:
3 Lucario DP
1 Lucario lv.X MT
4 Riolu DP
3 Ralts SW
2 Kirlia SW
3 Gallade SW
TOTAL: 16 (7 Basics, 9 Evolutions)

4 DRE
8 Fighting Energy
4 Psychic Energy
TOTAL: 16

3 Great Ball
4 Celio's Network
3 Castaway
2 Steven's Advice
3 Professor Oak's Visit
1 Copycat
3 Rare Candy
4 Cessation Crystal
3 Plus Power
2 Night Maintenance
TOTAL: 28

The Strategy:
Eh's the deck is just a beatup deck. There is no real "combo" with the deck. Gallade can kick butt and Lucario can take names. I guess you could use Gallade to force their HP to 50 and force them to the bench, then use Lucario to deal 40 to the active and snipe the hurt one on the bench for 20. The whole deck is weak to psychic, but there isn't that much psychic out there that these two fighters can't beat.

That's true and all, about Gardevior, but I don't like it that much. I feel it's only real use is it's poke-power, which with this deck and cessation crystals out, Gardevior's power will be shut down.

Please discuss Mario in another thread...like the official Mario thread.

^ No, keep at least 2/3 Psychics as the Basic Energies so Castaway can search them out.

I'd like to see Switch (maybe Warp Point...) in this deck too, as Gallade has a bit too much of a retreat cost to play tag games with Lucario otherwise. I'm also afraid I don't like Copycat in disruption decks. Especially since... You know, there's Galactic's Wager. Sure, you won't hit as big of a hand as Copycat might, but nailing your opponent seems rather valuable.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll pass. If I run only 1 gardevior and only 1 gardevior lv.X, if either is prized or I just have gallades in play, gardevior lv.X can't come into play. IMHO, Gardevior lv.X isn't that good, so I don't really want to incorporate it into the deck.

Gallade fits the idea of the deck and Gardevior and Gardevior lv.X doesn't.

Agreed.
This deck needs to run off the same concept as Mario.
Gallade (I believe) is a better metagame choice though. You don't need to worry about powers, and the Gardy(s) would just make the deck more confusing.
I like the deck overall.
Can't think of any serious changes
