T2 Banette

Pokemon: 8

4x Shuppet CG
4x Banette SW

Trainers: 40
4x Quick Ball
4x Castaway
4x TV Reporter
4x Celio's Network
3x Great Ball
3x Crystal Beach
3x Night Maintenance
3x Plus Power
2x Team Galactic's Wager
2x Holon Adventuer
2x Holon Mentor
2x Buffer Piece
2x Cessation Crystal
1x Strength Charm
1x Crystal Shard

Energy: 12

12x Psychic Energy

Strategy: A pretty simple turn 2 streagy: Shuppett autumatically evolves into banette with ascension and turn 2 you deal 40-80 damage if you discarded the 2nd Banette in your hand or not. There are ways to get him really quickly and its by using Quick Balls and Celios Network, Nights Maintanence is a sweet card because you can return Banettes and Shuppetts from the discard pile and you can keep on dealing 80 damage every turn with Banette. Make sure you have at least one Banette in your discard pile because other wise he would only do 40 and not 80. Do you guys think i should put in holon adventuer?

Holon adventurer would be a great addition. This deck needs numerous discard outlets to work, and TV Reporter and Mentor don't seem to be enough. Dropping a wager or two could make room for those, also ER2 could fit in for added disruption

so

2-TGW
2+ Holon Adventuer

I agree with your changes and i already did it

4- DRE's
4+ Crystal Beach

Hmm that means i would only use 10 energies in this deck. I can see that crystal beach can slow decks down like Infernape and Blissey royally. But i think i might need more energies to keep my self going but i have no idea what i should take out if i wanted to add more energies.

I don't mean to replace the DREs with the Crystal Beaches straight up, I think you probably want to run 12-14 psychics. Maybe

-4 DRE
-1 something
+2 Psychic
+3 Crystal Beach

The only thing that bothers me about this deck is that it has a Horible matchup against Empoleon.

That and if you are forced to put your self at 10hp. and are counting on being KO'd, and they don't attack, basicly your screwed.

Other than that I like the deck. I probably would use it if it wernt for the large amount of powerfull snipeing decks in my area. : (

I don't see anybody playing Empoleon any more. In fact, I see the problem deck being a Blissey and Weavile deck since it can change its type to their weakness and start OHKO everything and the Banette would never get a shot at catching up.

I would play one less Night maintenance since the object is to keep Banettes in the discard, but yeah- you'll still need them for the Shuppets. TSD would be much better here, though I doubt you have any. But if you do, they would be much more beneficial. Good luck!

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Energy: 14

12x Psychic Energy

?

Oh and this really doesn't make any sense. Did you accidentally delete some DRE or something of that nature? ;)

The team galactics wager are vital to this deck.... The reason why, if your oppent gets a setup most of the time you die... Wager helps dirupt there set up, and stall out.. DRE over crystal beach!!! although crystal beach is nice, you'll find that having DRE's handy will help in tight situations. Why is adventurer in here? The trainer line is pretty messed up. buffer peaces arn't nessacry because the bannetes are going to get knocked out any way, and you need them in the discard to do 80. You need TVR in this deck, its a good draw, you discard a bannete then attack for 80. Either choose mentor or great ball... 3 mentor or 4 great ball, playing both is weird but i guess its how you wan't to play. 14 energy seems way to little add in 3 dre and - 1 energy. Also think about teching in a alakazam star... copy the bannete in your hand discard it and do 80 put it back in your deck.. Also you might be able to copy the first attack and take no dmg, cause it says put dmg on bannete and your attacking with alakazam. but theylll have to make a ruling for that.

Prize card: Banette has very low HP and im afraid to go up against an opponent who may pull off the T1 or T2 infernape with flare blitz that will KO me. I dont think Alakazam* would be a helpful tech since it takes 3 energies to do an attack. You must have read my list waay to fast because first of all i have 4 TV Reporters and 2nd of all i have 2 holon mentors not 3. Well for the moment i will run crystal beach to see how effective it is. I really dont see many players running stadiums right now except Lake Boundary, but although windstorm is one card i have to deal with x_x.

Empoleon isnt a auto wn against Bannette at all. Banette's 1st attack can insure you that no scramble can be used while you KO there pokemon. I would say that it is 50-50.

OMG i cant use scramble energies now im goign to lose...

get a grip... scramble isnt the only thing in empolucario.

your right!!!!
Spreading damage can really hurt Banette but, when you run the proper lists, I wouldn't worry about damage spread. It is a 50-50 matchup for Banette and Empoleon. It will come down to who ever goes 1st IMO!!!!

Buffer Piece ftw

GJ!!!!!

dude, Banette is 50-50, argue all you want there kid. It will come down to who goes 1st. ok, do 10 to everything that I have, well, heal all my pokemon next turn, ko your Prinplup, and have the setup ready to ko your Empoleon. It's 50-50...
actually, it is 60-40 for PSyRush!!!!! but I am giving the benefit of the doubt here!!!

Banette is way faster than Empoleon. Chances are they'll have a really hard time even getting an Empoleon up.

Trust me, all they need to do is stall a turn or 2. They give the active 70 and maby 20 to a bench and then it gets really fun. You on your turn are most likly forced to play down a Shuppet. Oh my, take a look at that, 40hp. basic aka penguin snacks. They will just ignore the active bannete for a few turns, just placeing a nice 40 here and there, then finnish with Lucario, or a fresh Empoleon.

And after testing the matchup, you can belive me that haveing to continualy KO Empoleons with 130hp. when your max attack is 80 isn't fun.

Well, if they get a god hand with 2 candies and can repeatly candy into an Empoleon then what decks can beat it?
The think is Banette is EXTREMELY fast and can KO both piplup and Prinplup without an energy, making it hard to set your game up. Empoleon is a very good deck but, Banette should take the cake!!!:thumb:

^After reading this posts by you, I have compleatly lost any respect I might have had for you, and consider any of your posts worthless spamm. Good job. :nonono:

The thing is, it isnt even an Electivire deck, it is a water deck you tard, I told u I was playing the filed. dumb kid!!!
GL to you in your great year that you will have in pokemon, winning tournaments and creating brilliant decks....not!!!
