BAD gifts. Let discuss the bad stuff that we've been given

Socks.

I think I got socks for my birthday from my parents for 6 years running. Lots and lots of socks.

I sound like Rowling. i know. It's the truth.
 
I don't care to much if some one gets me nothing but I would prefer nothing over something I truly don't like/enjoy. A few people keep buying me stuff that most girls like (makeup, lip gloss,hair clips). But I don't like putting on makeup, nor doing my hair that much. So what I do is keep it around and if some one needs to barrow some lip gloss well I certainly will have some in stock lol. Though I am always greatful that they at least though of me. I always feel that it's though though that counts.
 
My friend gave me a gift card envolope for my birthday. I open it expecting a Tager gift card and instead there's a piece of paper with the letters IOU on it. My friend never made up for the IOU. :nonono:

cant do that to eggnog... epecailly if its too sweat to enjoy drinking it...

I don't give or receive many presents. I'm poor, live in government funded apartments, sometimes don't even eat... but that's only when the food money the government gives us po' at the beginning of the month is in our stomaches (at the end of the month). I wish I would have used my brain and not quit my job in anger. Stupid me.

So, yeah, any gift is nice!
 
Once you guys turn 18 you'll discover how awesome socks are. I LOVE socks. I WISH my parents or friends would buy me socks. God, I'm grateful for ANY gift.

Anyways, ON-TOPIC:

The worst gift i ever got was nothing. I really can't remember a BAD gift.
I've never gotten Pokemon though, but that's because my dad thinks it's silly. (I've done pretty well this season so far though, so he's supporting me a bit more more ^^)
 
I generally don't like getting gifts. Sometimes I need stuff and sometimes I want stuff. When I need stuff I normally ask for it as a gift so people have the same idea of how much I appriciate something as I do. When I want something I normally save my money and buy it. I don't really ever want much, though. I never want stuff like video games. I always want stuff like bizzare watches and jewelry. That can get pricey, though, so most of the time I just end up asking for it. I never get much money.

I don't know why you people don't like socks. You probably have never owned a good pair. When I get gift cards to fancy department stores, the first thing I buy is 40$ worth of socks. I might just be strange.

Dunno about that, I've been over 18 and I can still bug my parents into giving me stuff other than socks.
 
If my family get me anything, Im usually happy because I know that they went out and bought it just for me. It could be a can of peas, the point is they took the time to think about me and get me something, which is the point of a gift.
 
Before you guys write me off as an inconsiderate jerk I appreciate any gift I get, but this is bad. One of my estranged relatives decided to come to our celebration one year. She gave my cousin and I a cellophane bag with a pen, a pencil, a cap eraser, and 10 useless clips (not hairclips just random little clips). While this wouldn't have been so bad because she doesn't know what we like, she had to go and make it bad by giving her son 2 $50 video games right in front of the whole family. Haven't seen her since.

3 years ago, i said i wanted a laptop for x-man, and my parents did give me a laptop!!!

It was a candy holder, shaped like a computer that sits on your lap =/

But eventually i did get 1 (with my own money =/)
