my strategy is to start with sabley and sift thrugh my deck for trainers then oak my hand after i used the cards, while in the mean time mentoring for basics and powering them up. hope thats sufficient

4 rare candy and 3 Gabite? That is like playing 4-7-4. Way too off balanced. I'd reduce the amount of Gabite to 1 and leave the Rare Candy be. To fill the new two empty spaces in the deck how about adding two Great Balls? I also recommend removing 1 electric energy and 1 fire energy for 1 basic darkness and 1 basic metal energy. This gives you even more power!

Oh ho ho... Garchomp... Let's see....

First off... I'm just going to look at the list piece by piece, as clumping it all together makes my eyes hurt

Hm hm hm... What Sableye? CG, I presume... I'd say go with 2 CG Sableye. If this is SW Sableye, that's a rather huge difference, and you need to mark such in your list.
Ho-oh is terrible in this deck. Why include it? To abuse the different energy types? How? You have no energy acceleration. For doing 80 damage with 4 different types of energy? Why? Garchomp's already doing 70 for only three energy, possibly 110 damage. Why include it indeed... The ability to stall is inferior to that of Sableye, 'cause a Cessation Crystal shuts off his body. Whoops.
I'm assuming similar logic arrived at Spinda... however, Spinda's at least energy efficient, so it can stay. In fact, you might want to up the Spinda Count. It's not that bad of a starter (drawing 2 cards each turn can't be that bad)
Now, as you might have picked up earlier, I'm a tad scared that your pokemon lines lack any way of accelerating energy. Raichu is a nice pokemon for doing this, as is Typholosion. These two cards are very different, and will require some tweaking with the deck list to make work, but they should make a rather noticeable difference if you play them. Relying on 3 basic energy with no energy acceleration's just asking to get left behind in today's game...

Ah... Problems indeed.
4 Rare candy is overkill. 3 Rare Candy ought to work fine. If you decide to plant another stage 2 line into your deck, then keep the 4 Rare Candy, and merely drop a Gabite.
Elm's Training Methods should all become Celio's. You run no EX pokemon. No reason to limit yourself to only evolutions.
Professor Stones should become Roseanne's Researches. In fact, you'll want this number to be increased significantly. You'll want about 3 or 4 Roseanne's Researches at the least. Searching for Basic Pokemon is very nice, and adding Basic Energy to the mix is only making this better. Now... I understand Mr. Stone's can pull energy from the discard. That IS a nice effect, so you might want to keep playing 1 copy of Stone's Project. Maybe. If you don't want to play Night Maintenance for some weird reason.
Ah, Professor Cosmo... Why? You have superior options in Secret Wonders. Oak's Visit. Galatic's Mars. Make use of them...
Energy Search is cute, but not too helpful overall. It ought to make some room for the extra Roseanne's Researchs. NOW if you were running Sableye SW after all, then Energy Search might prove more useful. Otherwise...
1 Master Ball? Why one copy? I'd play 2-3, or none, personally.
Why the holon Circles? Sableye CG does a decent enough stalling job... Indeed, what you're lacking is Windstorms. What are you planning on doing against Lucario with Cessation Crystal? You'll need to Windstorm the Crystal away before Garchomp can one shot it. Aah...
1 Quick Ball. Again, why? See Master Ball...
I don't like 4 Mentor, to be perfectly honest. If we're already running 3-4 Roseanne's, then it only makes sense to drop the Mentor count to be 3 or 2.

3 boost
2 rock
2 psychic
3 fire
2 water
3 electric

[del]No such thing as Rock Energy[/del]
I think... 17 or 18 is a better number to have with Energies in a Garchomp deck. The most important elements to have are Fighting and Psychic, by far. Fire is relatively unimportant. NOTHING is weak to steel. Basic Dark might make a cute anti-Bannette tech (and would indeed come in quite useful during that matchup). The 3 Boost Energies are fine... Likely.
NOW, the energy count will get messy should you modify the deck to include an energy accelerator. Obviously you'll need more Lighting Energy to work with Raichu if you run that line. Etc, etc. Keep in mind that you'll almost always want to have tech Fighting and Psychic Energy, and maybe 1 darkness energy, and you should be fine.

So. What would the minimum changes fit the deck to be like...?

4-3-4 garachomp
2 sableye CG
2 spinda

3 rare candy
4 plus power
3 Celio's Network
2 prof oak
1 streingth charm
2 tv reporter
3 holon mentor
4 Roseanne's Research
1 galactic's wager
3 Windstorm
3 Prof. Oak's Visit

3 boost
3 Fighting
4 psychic
2 fire
2 water
2 electric
1 Dark

This helping you in the right direction?

Weavile SW is a better energy accelerator in a Garchomp deck than Raichu MT since his second attack is more stable and he can retreat for free.

Why not try Plusle SW instead of Sableye CG? Its Poke-Power can grab basic Energies from your discard pile when one of your Pokemon is Knocked Out.

That's some good and very comprehensive advice. I hope the OP has subscribed to this thread, appreciates what has been done and responds.

Because of the typo, anyone searching for "garchomp" will miss this thread
