You know what really annoys me (fansub related)?

While I don't have a pathological need for everything to be in perfect structured order, I like episode 2 to be aired after episode 1 and before episode 3, and so on. Not a completely random order.

i.e. They should use Kyon's numbers, not Haruhi's.

Yeah, that's true, but the series was meant to be watched that way. It's like reading a book backwards.
Besides after like the 6th episode (Haruhi #'s) it makes sense.
 
Apparently, the official order of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu is chronological, not broadcast, and Bang Zoom had to go through a lot to get permission to release broadcast order special editions. At least, that's what ASOS (a.k.a. best viral marketing ever) said.
 
The ending sucks if you watch it in dvd order. You need it to end with the bang that it did on the TV broadcasts.
