Redneck Hot Tub

Ok Pokegym, I am making a redneck hot tub and need some infomation.

1- How much does 64 cubic feet of water weigh?

2- How much weight can the truck bed of a 2005 Chevy Sliverodo hold?

3- If- The answer to number 2 is LESS THEN the answer to number 1 + the weight of 7-10 people, what trucks can hold the answer to number 1 + the weight of 7-10 people

I don't know the answers to those questions, but whatever you're doing sounds very dangerous! I wouldn't do it if I were you. I might try to find out how much the water weighs for you...

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

64 Cubic Feet of Water = 3995.37216 Pounds

OR

64 Cubic Feet of Water = 1812.278208 Kilograms

I hope that is accurate!

For the record, you can find the mass of something by multiplying its density by its volume.

EDIT: Here's a calculator for the density of water: http://www.csgnetwork.com/h2odenscalc.html
Also, the numbers Mew* gave you are for fresh water around 4 degrees C. I'm just going to take a wild guess, but I don't think your hot tub will be that cold. The hotter it gets, the less dense it will be. Therefore, you'll need less mass to fill up the same amount of space.

i think any mid size pickup can be converted to be a redneck hot tub. well not a hot tub. but a wading pool. but i'd first put some sort of tarp on it. or something so the water wont ruin my truck bed.

since this has apparently turned into some kind of private inside joke thread, and therefore is spam...*click*
