Well I am making a Duck article for the gym, and I need help with the match-ups (I will credit you). If you have tested this deck, please post your match-ups and how it went. Thanks

Its pretty much this for everything.

If you start with Absol. Your most likely gonna win.

If you don't start with Absol and they get a big hitter out, you lose.

During my games, here is what I found:
-They setup their main setup engine (delcatty, nidoqueen d, ect.), it becomes difficult to win
-If they use Plusle and Minun, its difficult to win
-Galladevior wins if it gets out Garde
-Do not let the game drag out, it gives them more oportunity to setup and win
-Absol is your best start, if you can nail a menotr/roseanne T1, your opponent is in big trouble
Hope that helps.

For me (though my deck is different from the 4-2-2 Murkrow/Honchkrow and 4 Absol), the biggest annoyance is T2 Blissey. It can almost always get set-up regardless of its poisiton since Chansey/Blissey can stall and live through attacks and powers up usually faster than I can. Just a bad match-up from my experience >.>

its gets easier the faster the deck is. if its trainermon, and their using t2 bliss, theres a good chance they lose thier t2 via baleful wind

It's only "bad" matchups are lightning decks....if they set up and gardy/galade if they have latliock. Actually any deck that has latilock is already a bad matchup.

Besides that, there isn't a matchup I've come across that is less than 50/50. Sableye fixes the Blissey matchup.

Yes I play Sableye in my version and it helps vs. Blissey and the rest of the decks

If you don't start with Absol against Hurricane and they get their Gatr d out it's game over for DWD. Even with the Absol start I have found this matchup difficult.

highly untrue and unlikely. Mine took down 3 Hurricanes last weekend without battin' an eye. Gatr d is easy to deal with. Especially since it takes so long to setup.

Well I don't feel like I have tested that match enough, so I won't...

Come on! It's in DWD favor's.
Multiple Wagers and a few attacks with Absol FTW, etc...

Most matches are determined by the same factors, reguardless of what your opponent is playing. It all depends on how fast you can kill their hand before they get a big field presence. If they cant setup fully before you start chucking Krows, you win. If their field gets going before your Krows get going, you lose.

Of course some decks setup faster than others, and thats essentially the only factor that makes each matchup different.

It depends on what the hurricane list plays. A hurricane deck that gets Magnecatty setup fast and goes aggro breaking tail could be a pain. I personally have never played the match, but it could go either way if the hurricane player knows what he/she is doing.

^ That's exactly how my bro. beat a DWD 3 times to win a CC.

You just stall and get a catty going, and the rest shortly follows.

And FYI, Gatr d takes 3/4 turns to get going. Thats plenty fast to start koing murkrows.

How do you stall against a wager that drops your hand down to three? Then baleful wind drops your hand down to one random card that does you know good. He then presumes to do 50-70 damage (if not more) to your poke's while continuing to dismantle your hand? Aside from the top deck....gg

You always win? I want to have that skill!

So you are saying that you never lose wager, and that you always have it t2? Baleful Wind is not that great against Hurricane as it has a high pkmn/nrg count.

Apparently you can always get out delcatty and gatr d. Why can't I always win wager and discard two cards. Oh yeah, I got umby* with the wager, so you now how 0 cards.

True that...

With out the Lati-Lock / Battle Frontier combo in play I would have lost much sooner...
