Is there anyone on Pokegym who is in the SCA (Society of Creative Anachronisms, BTW)?

Actually, no I haven't, but it looks like a good bit of fun. If I had the time, I'd think about participating.

I knew a bunch of people that did it on the west coast. I did mainly light weapon training for a few months in high school, then I realized it wasn't for me at all.

I never went to the larger battles, though I heard Petrero had some pretty big SCA meets there. Especially for heavy weapons.

I am joining up the in the Australia SCA in a couple of weeks. No joke. Just gotta make my leather stuffs and buy my bow and arrows. =D

And at the moment it looks like I might get some work at the Abbey Muesem next year. =D

And for anyone asking.

SCA = Society of Creative Anachronisms which is a Medieval re-enactment group.

Abbey Muesem = The biggest and best Medieval Muesem in the World...Or at least Australia =P
