Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

OREGON City Championships (and one in WA)

I have good news for you - THERE WILL BE A CC IN HILLSBORO!

We just confirmed the deal for Saturday the 29th of December. We will start registration at 11:00 AM at the Avatar's Lair. You have to come and check out this GREAT shop. It has lots of room and the decorations are awesome!BDS

Sweet, that's one of my wishes granted. Now what about the other two?

I'm psyched for Hillsboro mostly cause of the new place, but until then I'll just have to dominate the City's in my hometown.

Great to see you guys like my location. I'm glad to have helped out!
So you checked it out, BDS? Did any of the other Oregon PTO's check it out yet? I'm super psyched now, even more so than before! I can't wait to hold my first League session over there this weekend.:thumb::lol:

Vancouver, WA

What players and decks won on Sunday in Vancouver Wa?

from what I hear. . . .

Winners:

Masters

1. Stuart Benson
2. Ben Clanton
3/4 Daniel R. & ?

Seniors:

1. Keegan C.

Juniors? I know Riley W. made top cut.

I don't know decks. I'm bad at that.

CJ and Keegan were the "last 2 standing" in Seniors. Both ran Magmortar decks with Keegan squeeking out a narrow victory maybe because CJ scooped (Very close match). Since there were only 5 seniors  everyone combined into one big 5 round tournament.

Fun day and thanks to Chris and June for organizing and judging! Good job Ben taking 2nd.

-Cory

What were the masters dex, I know that Ben played blissey/weavile unless he switched. What'd Rattray and the winner play? Highly helpful.

-Daniel

Ben played an Omastar combo...ask him about it

One Gallade deck made final cut and I don't remember the other.

-Cory

T-4 decks I recall were Infernape, Magmortar, Gallade/Gardy, oh yeah and Ben's Omastar version
We missed you Daniel. See you in Salem??? Hope so I think it's my turn to win

June,
I would love to go, I can get a ride up there and all, but the ride back is bad, because my mom is not that great while driving at night. Since we would get over like around 6, and then it would be way to dark. If it was on a saturday I would be there, but it is not : (
I will be able to go to the Eugene/Tualitin weekend and then the Aloha, Portland over X-mas break most likely, so about four more for me.

Good luck,
Daniel

TEH NOEZ OSP NO BE THAR!!!! </3

Anyway, I found a can of hair gel which I purchased approximately infinity years ago. Expect me to abuse it fully come Sunday.

Expect it.

Also, everyone here needs to buy a 360 and a copy of CoD4 so I can be better than them at it. XD

But isn't that the disease where you sue everything in sight because they don't agree with you? Then you offer to donate money to a charity if they do something for you, then you retract that offer because someone actually does it, someone else donates the money in your name, and then you call the cops on them for slandering you? That Jack Thompson Syndrome?

Sunday Dec 30th. is lonely

Sunday Dec. 30th is a perfectly fine day for a City Championship yet not one in Washington or Oregon that day, What gives?

Yea but so does Washington, I would like to come down and play like I did last year, but its kind of hard to justify driving 200 miles past one Tournament to play in another (unless your name happens to be FS, I suppose)
If there was one in both days I could see going down for a Pokemon Weekend. I guess I will see you all on Oregon States in March.

I'm going to take over ilikegengar's job this time since Salem is my hometown.

Winners:
Masters: Steven Weatherbe (spelling?)
Seniors: Clint Armstrong
Juniors: Oliver (Sorry, don't know his last name)

In the DS tournament:
first: ME!
second: Marvin
Third: Chris S.
Even though I wond the DS tournament, I gave the first place prize to Marvin, which was a pachirisu stylus.

Tournament highlight: Mr. Raichu making a mistake while judging during senior finals and an outside player correcting him. I'd never thought I'd live to see the day.

*Corvallis players

BDS ran an extremely smooth tourney, as usual. Deck lists were turned in and the tourney actually started quite close to noon. I enjoyed seeing some smiling faces I haven't seen in a while. My record of 2-3 for the day isn't that bad as I played some very good games but lost.

Note to JandPDS: see you at states! I have something for little Sara.

I took pictures!:
