Two accounts

why would you want two accounts, if not for deception as to who you 'really' are?

it's against the board rules:
Multiple Log Ins (updated Feb 1, 2007)
In order to promote trust and trustworthy interaction in the community, we do not permit a member to use more than one log in or screen name. These multiple log ins are sometimes called sock puppets. Some staff may have an additional screen name in order to 'drop privileges' for feature-testing purposes only. A member that creates multiple names will be temporarily banned under the main screen name and the other names will be permanently banned. If someone should succeed in posting under multiple screen names all the screen names will be merged and a longer ban assigned. Signing up for an additional screen name to avoid consequences of your actions, such as a ban, and will result in a much longer, perhaps permanent, ban.

as stated above, it is against the board rules to have more than one account...and we WILL take action when we find out.

We do have a larger PM box available for a one time nominal charge, if desired.

At one time we did allow multiple accounts, but it led to too many problems with abuse, so we no longer allow them.

Just out of curiousity, what happens if a board member has more than 1 SN, but they were registered before the rule was changed? Would they be allowed to still use them, or would they lose them and get banned if they did if it was found out?

I am just wondering, since I am sure there a few members who most likely have more than 1 account and dont "disobey" the rules.
