Day 2 Professor Cup video anyone?

Does anyone have a video of the end of day 2 of the Professor Cup? The one I was hoping to get may have been accidentally deleted. I know a few people got at least part of what happened as everyone gathered. I was lucky enough to be sitting next to Chris during the last round and my daughter...

    Reshiboar VS Reshiphlosion?

At this point in the metagame I don't think Boar is any less viable than TyRam (quite the opposite in fact). It is certainly less popular, though. Oddly, the reduced usage of TyRam actually hurts Boar quite a bit.

    Reshiboar VS Reshiphlosion?

The major differences between the two are as follows: Once TyRam is set up it's self sustaining. You really don't even need to draw cards once you set up 2-3 Typhlosion and have a steady stream of Reshiram available with enough Fire in the dicard pile. The problems it has is if it even needs...

    Reshiboar's matchups

Reshiboar typically has positive matchups against TyRam and Goth. The biggest issue is getting set up consistently and getting past the first couple of turns against rush decks (ZPST, Stage 1's, etc.). Also having enough energy recovery is vital to how the deck functions once it is up and...

    Reshiboar for Regionals...

These are the cards that look like you can remove without really hurting consistency: 1 Cleffa 2 Bianca (personal preference here, would need to be replace by other draw) 1 Junk Arm 1 Catcher 1 Plus Power Things you could use in those spots: +1-2 Fisherman +1 Rare Candy/Pignite More draw (4...

    HGSS-on Reshiram + Typhlosion

Kingdra and Magby serve the same purpose here. One or the other should go. The easy fix is to swap Magby out for Cleffa. If you feel confident enough against Goth with just the single Magby, then the whole Kingdra line can go. You could swap a 2-2 line of Ninetales in those spots, but then...

    Iron Chef Top 32 Scores!!!

Gowk, whoever wins is up to Vegeta. I'll abide by his decision as I hope you will also. In building and playing the deck out I found it very difficult to get energy out on the board quickly. Audino rarely hit for more than 50 damage on turn 1. However, around turn 3 or 4, assuming it wasn't...

    HGSS-on ReshiBoar

The biggest issue is your lack of draw outside of Ninetales. I've also found PlusPower useful in this, but one seems to be enough with Bad Boar in the deck. You're also running more energy than you really need to, even with multiple Ninetales in the deck. - 1 Vulpix -2 PlusPower -1 Engineer's...

    Disrupt Everything

Your Ursaring line is only 2-2, so increasing the Teddiursa up to 3 should make it a little more consistent. Also, if you lose one while using Fake Tears it's not as hard to recover from.

    Iron Chef Top 32 Scores!!!

My biggest issue is I built the deck I lost to (with the perfect 20/20). Not only is it not a Donk deck, it even struggled against the Precon decks played by the little kids at my league tonight. Actual metagame decks played by Masters completely demolished it. I'm sorry if I offend Gowk or...

    Sent you a PM, Vegeta.

    Disrupt Everything

I would probably alter the Pokemon line to 3-2 Ursaring and 3-2 Weavile. The third Weavile is rarely needed, and with Seeker in use having all the Sneasel evolved is a bad thing actually. The deck has huge issues with Magnezone. Ninetales can also give you some issues if they can set it up...
