I hate boring introductions, so I'll be quick. Nationals was reeeaaally long, so if I played against you and forgot our match or got something wrong, let me know! Also, I am leaving out names for a few reasons, but if you are OK with it I'll put your name down. Here goes! :)
Deck Choice: Entei...
The most common form of cheating I've seen is people faking mulligans. That's why I thoroughly check every mulligan. I am probably a little more likely to give them the benifit of the doubt though, as I tend to make mistakes like that pretty often.
However, I am not shy about calling judges...
I was hoping there might be a little more discussion about this card, but maybe this is just a sign the card is unplayable?
Pros:
An extra card per turn
Cons:
Stage 1
Poor basic
Retreat of 3
No attack
Er, I just cannot talk myself into this one. Curious if anyone likes it.
I like the 3/3 split, but I'm pretty sure (haven't done the math) that if you go down to 2 Collectors, your chances of finding the Collector from the Pokegear that early would be terrible.
Either of the Legends will have to be an entirely different deck.
You may have to accept an auto-loss to some forms of stage 1 and anything water, which won't be too bad unless it is popular in your area. I think the only way to turn that matchup around is to have an option for taking easy...
ITT: Is/ought fallacy.
Nobody likes getting donked. Players have asked for changes. They have not made such changes. You have to decide when you enter a tournament if you are playing for fun, to win or a mix.
If it is to win, Tyrogue it up.
I'm not predicting it to be that big of a deal. Serious players skip battle roads to preserve their ratings, the remaining players don't have access to the cards/don't know about it... so you will have a few jerk faces bored enough to "play to win" at a Battle Road - at least that's what I'm...
