If Alolan Dugtio with a Wide Lens attached attacks a benched Sylveon GX does weakness get applied?

I would like the Shiny Ultra Ball. I have a FA Bianca.

It's possible they could use Dragon type cards for Fairy type Pokémon, but with Fire, Metal, or other type weakness instead. Covers Fairy type being Super Effective against Dragon type (their major point for existing?) without some extra/unnecessary mechanics like Special Energies or Abilities.

My favorite deck to play for fun is: Keckleon (RR) + 4x Special Darkness Energy + 2-3x Cherrim (SF) [Sunny Day] + Expert Belt + Shaymin LV.X [Thankfulness] + Lucario GL + Sunyshore Gym or Ruins of Alph = 130 HP basic that does 90 -100 damage, then flips 3 coins for up to 60 more...
