Based upon pliskin's comments on Darkrai Hydreigon, I believe that Togekiss + whatever will become BDIF. Resistance to Mewtwo + DCE (or charge) tactics is my guess on its major advantage. There's also Max Potion spam, energy flexibility, built in cheap draw, and superior HP. Gothitelle kinda...

I've tried the concept before - it's not bad, but doesn't do enough damage. The lock is great, and you'll definite infuriate people, but eventually it just peters out.

I was thinking more of Garchomps, but you're right.

Klingklang, I think, would have still been relevant had we had Skarmory and Special Metal, but with the rotation, there's nothing that Klingklang can do that Hydreigon can't do better. Except for survive dragon attacks, but that's a relatively moot point.

If it didn't have that godawful psychic weakness, you could have made Machamp Vileplume. But no, there really isn't a deck right now incorporating Machamp Prime that you can make remotely competitive.
