Are the older cards (i.e. not diamond & pearl) still alright for using in battle? I have a large box full of all the old cards, back from when the illustrator's name was under the weakness and resistance. Some of them are quite good, and I'm done for if I can't use them! :rolleyes:

New to the forum, and new to the new stuff...if that makes sense. I get the basics (I remember back in the good old days when pokémon was simple!) but I'm still unsure on the new changes. Plus I forgot most of the stuff I knew about strategy.
