In general you can expect to pay $3000+ for the old-school trophy cards....depending on condition, place and if its in the original case.
The two you have listed above 97 Pikachu in its original case could bring in $4000-6000 (possibly more if you find the right buyer) and the Tropical mega...
I am looking for one English tropical beach card 2011/2012. If anyone has one shoot me a price. I pay with paypal (goods - I will pay the fee) only.
Thanks!
I have a duplicate 2000 Tropical Mega Battle Medal (http://i1334.photobucket.com/albums/w645/Mkpokecc/medals026_zps51b0295b.jpg) that I am looking to trade. Supposedly 40-50 were made; one for each contestant. I am looking for one or two English tropical beach cards. The year nor place matters...
It is certainly possible that someone could have wrote on them. However from the Japanese signatures I have seen, everything appears to be correct. Also, I bought these many years ago from a reputable card store, not off ebay or someone random. That being said they did not have a COA and I...

I was wondering if anyone here would help me determine if the following signatures are authentic. From the signatures of Mitsuhiro Arita I have seen in the past, I believe these to be real. That being said it is always nice to hear what others have to say. Any help/information is greatly...

Hahaha I'm not out to convince anyone. Everyone has a different definition to the term "holy grail" and everyone has different tastes. I am merely providing the facts regarding the illustrator.
Personally, I like the old Japanese promos more. That being said the Pre-release Riachu is quite...
So what differences needed to be put aside exactly? ...and no the Illustrator is not " legendary" because there are four copies.....you want to know why? Because there are more than 4!! Its so sought after because:
1.) Its the only card to have "illustrator" instead of trainer
2.)...
Ha! That is like saying "Oh, weren't the Beetles just some band or something?...I don't know of them".
Whats the Pre-release riachu's story? WOTC: "Whoops....looks like we made another printing error! Who wants one?" ...good story.
No you didn't  ...let me quote your first post " We have enough rare treasures (ie The square cut, no stage Blastoise lol) to hang our hats and dreams on..."
Comparing the Pr-release Riachu and the Illustrator is like (get ready for cliche phrase) comparing apples to oranges. For starters, this may be obvious, but they are not even the same language. Second, The Per-release Riahcu is a widely distributed base set card that was accidentally given a...
Those are the "grey" star promo cards. They were english promos printed by media factory for coro coro comics back in the day. Here is a scan of the pikachu: http://www.flickr.com/photos/58676239@N07/5423670276/
