I started playing Pokemon in 2004. However, I was living in a country that did not participate in Pokemon Organized play, so the most I could do was solitaire decks against each other.
In 2007, I moved to Louisiana and found a league. I started playing there with my Typhlosion EX/Macargo deck, and my first game was against the League Leader. I lost by 1 turn. However, I was hooked by the game. I eventually found the Pokegym, loved reading the forums as a guest, and eventually joined to write tournament reports and help people with their decks.
