Wow. And I thought qualifying this year was going to be an accomplishment. I'd really like the thought process explained by TPCi. What number of players were you trying to get this year that made you want to start giving invites away?

For the competitive player, you generally want most competitive decks built at any given time. When taking that into account, there isn't really time/money to try and bling out those decks.

First of all, sponsership in Pokemon is the coolest thing I've heard in a while. It's great to see a "Star City Games" like figure in the PTCG. Sadly, I'm in seniors and I doubt there will be 512 seniors at Nationals. Still, awesome to see this. Great idea, TCC!

From what I remember, winning a states or regionals will NOT qualify you for nationals. I know it sounds ridiculous. Could a judge confirm this for me?

How do you plan on ethering? Just hope you get lucky? You need pokedex if you're going to run it.

"Turning out to be a strong deck" How strong? Can it hold up against fast decks like Landorus? Also, I doubt 2 escape ropes is enough. Perhaps you don't worry because Ho-oh can just retreat for two and then put energies on another? Just curious, love the deck.

Cut the eviolites for a raikou and a super. And cut something else for either a tropical beach or emolga.

I have seen several of these already. In fact, I haven't seen a regular yet.
