agreed. it sure would be nice if it was in a different spot every year. I would love for it to be on the east coast, Japan and even Europe .. but unfortunately, i get to take a vacation . . . at home next year. as for affordability, well, this is pokemon where people pay hundreds of dollars...

How about everybody from around the world who will be coming to visit one of the top 10 cities to live during the best time of the year to visit. Combine it with a cheap Alaskan cruise and you have one great family vacation. You guys have to think beyond just the tcg. It's a yearly vacation...

It was discovered that one of the players was actually a pokemon who came disguised as a person. As that would have given him an unfair advantage given his intimate knowledge of pokemon, and the rules state that no pokemon is allowed to play in sanctioned tournaments, the staff had no choice...

congrats curtis!!! it's always great seeing you guys at tournaments, but it's extra special when someone wins it. I knew it was a matter of time. You and the team deserve it.

Not to be a doubter, but could somebody from PUI (Pete or Dave) chime in on this thread and confirm that this event in fact carries a 32K value towards worlds ratings? Can't find this event on www.pokemon.com.
