Is this the one for FL too?

Florida already had their regionals for this season back in November. While we were having our regionals Georgia wasn't. This season instead of regionals all being on the same day sometime in April they were split up to have some in April and some earlier in the year (November). So for April if you want to play in a Regional Championship and are from Florida then Georgia Regionals is most likely the best place to go.

Thank you Harrison, I'm glad someone gets it. I've had more then 1 Florida player assume that their is a 2nd regional in Florida to take place in April without any official announcement from Play! Pokemon or a PTO. I asked a PTO flat out if there is a 2nd regional in Florida in April, the answer is no.

Georgia Regional is indeed the closest Spring regional to Florida in April.

Just finished working out a rate with one of the local hotels, here is the infomation:

First post here... but anyway, I've had this idea for a while and now would really like to pursue it. I saw that someone on ****** is gonna make a documentary on the TCG side of things, but I myself am a film major and I've seriously considered trying to make a documentary this year and start at this regional. I have all necessary equipment and the movie would be composed of 25% my journey to the VGC's with my close friends (one of which is also a filmmaker) and compose the other 75% with gameplay footage and interviews. I will upload this to my youtube channel (youtube.com/bigxxxdub) and also could even possibly send raw footage/a finalized dvd to anyone who would like to be a part of the movie. The raw footage is mainly if you make it to Nat's/World's and wanted to film something of your own you could add some of this Regional footage to your own movie. I'd really love some feedback from anyone who would be interested and also if this becomes some kind of youtube hit I'll include everyone who was a part of this movie's channel link and also a link to this website along with others. I really think this could work because a lot of us will be staying in the same discounted hotel as well. I really do want to focus on the competitive aspect of of both sides of the Tournament but will definitely be throwing some off the wall fun stuff in it as well. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks

Wishing Florida Regionals hadn't had to come first... I was still getting back into the format at that time and... Now I have to say I'm more ready than I was then. That's for sure.

Living 10 minutes from downtown Athens, all I have to say is FINALLY!!!! No more driving an hour to a tournament. I CAN NOT FREAKING WAIT.

Just talked with the hotel and rooms are filling up fast. If you don't have your room yet make sure to do it soon.

I need my banned Sneasel!!!

If anyone from Memphis/St. Louis/Indiana is going to his, and has room in their car, I want to offer a $50 "bribe" to haul a big card back to Memphis with them.

I have purchased this sneasel "thing", and have yet to pay for the shipping back.

I may see if any of my Yugioh Brothers want to try and get it from Tymon this weekend...

Any Memphis (or St. Louis or Indiana) players going to this?

Thanks,

Vince

I've got it to fit in an Explorer or Flex, but pretty much it leaves no room for anyonoe to sit in the 2nd row of the cars.

If anyone would be kind enough to give a 14 year old boy and his mother a ride to the tournament, we could pay you. Me and my mom will stay in our own hotel room and we want to arrive late on Friday, and be back by late Sunday, so I can do both days.

What kind of things are going on Friday night as far as open gaming, $25 booster drafts like pre-releases, etc. etc.??

Also, is T&T or someone going to be there to buy cards?

I am working with the Hotel to have an open gaming area Friday & Saturday night, but there will be no run events.

T&T will be there to buy and sell cards on Saturday & Sunday.
