if your active pokemon is knocked out and u dont have any bench pokemon,search your deck for a basic pokemon and put it on the active spot.shuffle your deck afterward. Your opponent doesn't take a prize after knocking out your active pokemon.

If it only prevents prizes from being taken if there are no Benched Pokemon, and as long as there's another card in the format that can force both players to fill their benches with Basic Pokemon from the Deck, then this card would have enough ways to work around it to be safe.
