City Championships 2014-2015 OREGON Events ​

  • Be a multiple City Champion – Come to as many as you can!
  • Three Age Divisions - Juniors (born in 2004 or later) / Seniors (born in 2000, 2001, 2002, or 2003) / Masters (born in 1999 or earlier)
  • Format - Modified (Bring your own 60 card Deck -Cards are allowed from the Black & White Boundaries Crossed set or any sets released after that set and Black Star promo cards BW51 and higher or XY01 and higher
  • Style - Age Modified single game Swiss (all players play in every round)
  • Top Cut –There will be a top cut if we have enough players (limited to top 8)
  • Entry Fee for Juniors and Seniors - FREE !!!
  • Entry Fee for Masters - $10

Tournament Prizes - MASTERS
1st Place - 36 Pokemon Boosters, 1st Place Trophy and 50 Championship Points
2nd Place - 20 Pokemon Booster Packs and 40 Championship Points
3rd & 4th Place - 10 Pokemon Booster Packs and 30 Championship Points
5th to 8th Place - 4 Pokemon Booster Packs and 20 Championship Points (if division attendance is 32 or greater)
9th to 16th Place - 2 Pokemon Booster Packs and 10 Championship Points (if division attendance is 64 or greater)

** Special Video Game Premier Challenge Opportunity

At two City Championship events we will offer an opportunity to play in a VG Premier Challenge tournament. The VG tournament will start toward the end of the TCG tournament so players who want to play in both will have the opportunity (unless they make the TCG top cut). Locations offering the VG tournaments are Eugene (registration at 4:00 PM) and Corvallis (registration at 3:00 PM). The registration fee for the VG Premier Challenge is $5 for all players and top finishers will receive Game Stop or Nintendo gift cards.
