Shadow Stitching vs. Evolving

I feel like this has to have been ruled on dozens of times, but I can't find the answer, so...

With Greninja BKP's Shadow Stitching, does the effect of the attack end for a Pokémon that evolves?

For example, a Zorua evolves into Zoroark GX the turn after Shadow Stitching is used. Can it use Trade? I imagine the same would be true if Rare Candy is used to evolve.

There is the general rule of evolving removing all effects of attacks on that Pokémon (which Shadow Stitching places its effect on Pokémon, not the player) yet the text specifically calls out the effect including "cards that come into play on that turn".

Thanks,

No, the effect is on the player, so it doesn't end. Zoroark would be coming into play that turn, by evolving, so it is specifically called out that its ability would be blocked.
