Standard and Expanded Format Legal Card List Discussion

The list is missing also Fletchling from Phantom Forces which was reprinted in Latias Trainer Kit, making it the only card saved from rotation by Trainer Kits this year. Adding to what rivershock mentioned above, Charizard-EX XY29 is the rotated one (Stoke) not the one which was later reprinted (Combustion Blast).
 
Incidentally, I missed Phantom Forces Wobbuffet from my list, which was reprinted in Generations' Radiant Collection.

And oops, sorry about the Charizard. Honestly, I forgot those tins even existed until I was looking through the promos to see what was still in.
 
Also, the prerelease Machamp promo, and Clefairy and Clefable from the Wigglytuff Trainer Kit, were all reprinted in Generations.
 
Hey PokePop! It seems that four sets from which you removed Super Scoop Up after the Standard rotation were wiped by accident entirely. No cards are listed in these sections: Neo Genesis, Expedition, DP: Majestic Dawn and HS: Unleashed.

The other three that had it EX: FireRed LeafGreen, EX: Delta Species, and Diamond & Pearl seem to be unaffected but I would double-check the card lists, just in case.
 
That reminds me. The Standard list also only lists the first of the four XY Trainer Kits. (Not a big deal for the last 2, since they're within the legal sets, but it does matter for the Bisharp/Wigglytuff since it's out of rotation but contains subsequently reprinted Tierno, Potion, Swirlix, Clefairy and Clefable.)

Evolutions Caterpie, Weedle and Surfing Pikachu are identical to their original counterparts. (Base Set/Base Set 2/Legendary Collection for Caterpie and Weedle, and Wizards Promo and Rising Rivals for Surfing Pikachu.)

First time poster, but very interested in how the Standard legal list is laid out. Helps a lot for a new-ish player to figure out what physical cards from rotated sets can be kept within a Standard legal binder.

With that said, here are a few comments/omissions, mostly to do with Items:

Latest Reprint Updates:
  • Maintenance - Most recent reprint is in {EVO}. Currently listed as {FFI} and {GEN}
  • Potion - Most recent reprint is in {SUM}. Currently listed as {KSS} and {BKP}
  • Switch - Most recent reprint is in {SUM}. Currently listed as {KSS}, {BKP}, and the correct {SUM}
  • Double Colorless Energy - Most recent reprint is in {SUM} (or {GRI} for the Secret Rare). Currently listed as {XY}, {PHF}, and {FCO}

  • Devolution Spray BS - Is the Base Set version not legal at all or does it require errata?
  • Double Crisis had no Basic Energy cards so the note needs to say that "No cards from this set are legal in Standard"
  • The McDonalds 2017 Set is missing from the list. All 12 Basic Pokémon are reprints of a Sun & Moon era Pokémon except for Pikachu which is a reprint of SM04
  • As above with Double Crisis, there are no Basic Energy cards in all the McDonalds sets, and to be honest, a lot of the promo sets so it may be better to just state that no cards from those sets are legal rather than the current statement

You seem to have missed the Primal Clash Mega Gardevoir EX. (Though I could have sworn it was on there at one point.) The Generations Radiant Collection print is indeed a reprint of it.

You mislabeled M Charizard EX (Flashfire 13) as a regular Charizard EX.
