    2011-7-30 GS Persian 027

Persian/Weavile/Slowking/Victini/Mr. Mime/Spinarak may as well be the disruption deck you've been hoping for when we get Victini and Catcher. Ambipom is good, yeah, but with Persian, you don't let the random topdeck after Ambi's shuffling attack surprise you. Also, Victini works for dual...

ALL Red collection are translated and scans known!

I am liking Zekrom + Eviolite if the scanlation is correct. -20 from ALL damage, even self damage, with self damaging attack and rage from a basic pokémon sounds too good to miss in this Yanmega Prime format.

    (1) Finland is the first to play Nationals (7 May)

Yeah, I had an interesting tournament with Regigigas... Hadn't played for 5 months, overslept in the tournament morning so I missed the first round and started 0-1, then won 8 games in a row until I lost 2-1 to tournament winner in Top8. Too bad it's a last tourney for Gigas, would have loved...

    (1) Finland is the first to play Nationals (7 May)

Yeah, MD-CoL, with old rules. I'm pretty glad that our Nats were played that way,.

    (1) Finland is the first to play Nationals (7 May)

Esa J. won Masters with Gengar in what was said to be very intense final game, Tom R. was 2nd with Luxchomp. Eelis P. played Luxchomp and got to Top 4, don't recall who was the other T4er. Top8 had Tomi S. playing Regigigas, Juuso P. playing DialgaChomp, Vesa H. playing Sablelock and onre more...

    Switch and Warp Point

Currently playing 1 Switch, 1 Warp Point in my Gigas. Switch is a great tech against Luxchomp. Helps against Roserade GL and Promocroak, both difficult techs for Gigas to handle, especially when they are combined. Switch basically acts as my Promocroak counter, as the normal retreat + sacrifice...

    Regigigas for States

Yeah, now the list looks good IMO, not exactly one of my builds but should be very strong basic list to start modifying for your play style, if even necessary! Can't make it to Stockholm either - too bad, I've won last 2 Stockholm states in Masters, hate to miss the change for hat trick :)...

    Regigigas for States

Looks better now, though I agree that -1 Bebe's, -1 Black Belt. -1 Seeker => +2 Pokémon Communication and +1 Luxury Ball could make it even more consistent. Some people use Poké Healers in Gigas, I personally prefer a single Switch. You can get it with Twins, get it back with Junk Arm and helps...

    Regigigas for States

I did in Worlds (12th), Matijs did in European Challenge Cup (6th). No one has played 3-1 Gigas in Finland since Worlds. 2-2 is the play. I haven't been able to fit in 4 Junk arms without sacrificing the consistency in the beginning, so 3 is fine. Should go for 4 Collectors though, as it is...

LostGar Hype Discussion - IN HERE ONLY

Hey, Just thought I'd share my quick opinions about LostGar vs. Gigas. Don't know if anyone has tested it intensively (I think only Gigas players, as it was seen as such a treat), but with my Gigas knowledge and Gengar list I've come to the following conclusion... LostGar won't be anywhere...

    Great Ball or Dual Ball?

Straight answer: Dual ball. The power to fetch Uxie and use it is just that much better. Unless you're playing Scizor-Cherrim.

    Purugly G in Dialgachomp?

Tech in Copycat and Purugly G. Deafen for 10 turns. When breaking Deafen lock, use your Copycat to get like 15 card hand... ...and then discard your opponent's hand with Purugly.

    palkia lock skeleton and techs

...no. Although you could run Palkia lock without Garchomp. You will just have to really focus on a single Palkia G Lv.X and basically block out everything your opponent is throwing at you with something like Sableye/Smeargle start, Initiative, Judge, Giratina Let Loose, Chatot G, Mesprit...

    I need a rogue deck

While you don't like grass, you might want to utilize the drag offers in the format. There is couple of used ones (Gigas drag off, Blaziken luring flame, Zangoose Invite and Strike) but there are a couple that aren't used that much while the potential could exist. Expert Belt / Black Belt...

    NEED gyarados counters FAST.

Seeker and Twins should allow the usage pretty well. Twins for Seeker and TM2 on one turn, then in the next turn pick up Vileplume with Seeker and play down TM2. Then B-TS Vileplume back.

    NEED gyarados counters FAST.

Gengar Prime + TM2 Devolutor. Go for it!

Faster than the Speed of Gyarados

I feel you. Getting Mew Prime to Restore Gyaradoses takes quite a setup, after all.

Faster than the Speed of Gyarados

I think the pros play Smeargle starts with Gyarados ATM.
