Another problem with team battles is how they require two people. What if somebody wants to enter but their partner cannot attend the event? Could they choose another partner? Plenty of questions like this would arise.

Have you considered putting in a couple of TS-2? If he rare candies into a Bastiodon you can devolve it back down to it's basic stage. Sure your turn ends, but he has has effectively lost his rare candy and may not have another one in his hand.

:confused: I have no idea where you play. If people were allowed to proxy cards why would anybody bother buying them in the first place? Believe it or not Pokemon is a business and without people buying cards there would be no money made.
