I was looking at Drifblim as a late game tech also, playing Drifblim in the first 5 turns is usually a bad idea unless you can catcher something with 2 or more retreat and make them waste a DCE to retreat. We'll see though, we'll see.

I'm confused, how would Shaymin EX help in the Durant match up when they don't take prizes? Gigas is a great counter to be honest.

Yeah, I agree more or less, I still love Drifblim and I'm going to play this no matter what. xD

You also have Ultra Ball to discard energy which also allows you to grab a Pokemon for Absol if you're going that route.

If they didn't nerf Rare Candy the format would be much better.

I find it to be ann underrated card, it's a lot of fun with Vileplume, it's certainly not the best card in the set or the format but as stated previously it's a good stall card and Frost Vanish is a nice attack. 6/10

NM is still a better card then Super Rod, but hey, at least it beats Flower Shop. NM: 10/10 Super Rod: 9/10

Just to clarify to everyone Ultra Ball is discard 2 cards search for a Pokemon and put it into your hand. The one your thinking of is Level Ball.

Durant has nothing on Conkeldurr.

A fun deck, nothing more. The only way I could see this being decent is with Vileplume and the newest Leavanny, but it takes a lot of set up and the reward isn't really worth it. I like it, I really do, but I can't see this getting any play in any tournament. 4/10

Best Pokemon VGC article I have ever read, I will be referencing this to new players and I learned today that Zapdos can learn Tailwind, I never actually thought about it. I've decided I'm going to start playing competitively again recently and the format looks amazing right now.
