You're too kind. ;) Yes I won Malaysia Masters 7-0 with the deck. It can beat Gyarados, is quite favourable if played right but very close to 50-50. I beat a Gyarados in T4 ; report's in the States forum.

I really did not have a deck to play for States, being totally honest here, I haven't been playing a lot lately as I've had numerous personal reasons and have been filled with a super busy schedule. Had a big test the day before States too, in which I passed. :) And so, going into a tournament...

I'd have to correct you on that, the Special Metals go to the lost zone, not the discard pile where Zone SF can easily fetch it back. So, yeah, it can't be recovered. :) Zoning the Rescue Energy sounds nasty to me, it would no longer be a card that can assure you get your Pokemon back.

Smeargle is a great card to setup with, but it relies a lot on luck to get that extra edge on your opponent. (A T1 supporter going first is always great) while Sableye is a more consistant setup card which I found really helps especially once you manage to slow down your opponent with Judge...
