When set predicting future sets (not set predicting what cards will be in the current set) you have take a deep look at the peripherals of the cards: checking out specific trends that have lasted throughout all the sets released within the generation, (and even then, it is extreme speculation...

Is there absolutely no chance that they could be reassigned? I don't want to lose hope unless there's no possible chance at all. A few products and events recently have been getting late BW series alternate holos, so, I'm not entirely sure how lost the cause is for these two promos.

But we do have promos like that. Tournament promos (for attending, staffing, and winning), league promos, 'being a professor' promos, player rewards. They just aren't black star promos, which makes it entirely more fair.

I would personally like to see improved Trainer Kits rather than more Trainer Kits. Every store nearby still has a large pile of BW Trainer Kits simply sitting on store shelves. Maybe more exclusive cards. They certainly had a lot to choose from based on the recent promotional cards Japan has...

The XY Trainer Kit should instead be $8.99. I don't know why places are selling it for so much.

They seem to be more common in the print run though. Out of the two prereleases I attended, I pulled 5 Fairy energy out of the 16 packs, and 0 fire, 0 lightning, 0 metal.
