    Shadow Play: A Shuppet Article

Shuppet's engine with 4 Roseanne's definitely helps against Gengar (and all trainer lock for that matter). Roseanne's helps you get a Shuppet + Energy so you can threaten a KO on a Gastly if they Pitch Dark again.

    1-0-1 Kingdra tech

Chuck used Machamp tech for States and idk about Regs, but CLAYDOL for Nats/Worlds I think... Go Claydol!

Cynthia's Guidance is what this thread is referring to.

    2009-11-13 Buffer Piece AR 84/99

I reckon this would actually be a strong card but due to Expert belt being better in a lot of situations it isn't that good.

    Analysis of [non-SP] Staple cards

Very nice article for beginners or people who might be just starting to get back into the game!

    Flygon + Machamp = FlyChamp

Err, sorry, typo lol, I meant 5. Ok, that's cool, I just feel playing 1 RR Trapinch gives you options. Sure, you might not use the Power every game- heck, as you mentioned, maybe not even once every tournament, but I feel it CAN be good occasionally where as the 4th SW Trapinch makes no...

    Flygon + Machamp = FlyChamp

I really like the article, extremely well written and shows good knowledge of the deck, but FOUR SW Trapinch?!?! With 6 Fighting in the deck 1 or 2 Trapinch RR is very effective at powering up back-to-back Flygons. I would also go with a 2nd NM over the Palmer's, because this deck has so many...

    Leafeon/Sceptile/Shaymin? Really?

    Anti-gengar strategy

Ditto is probably the only splash-able tech to beat Gengar IMO. With a multi/psychic it can copy Gengar's Shadow Room attack, being able to KO a Gengar without activating the Poke-Power or you can snipe their Claydol or Uxie or anything else.

Arceus Tins...more money and more packs

An extra booster + POP pack is easily worth thew extra 5 dollars.

Yup, i don't doubt that (you are a better player than me as well no doubt).

    1-0-1 Kingdra tech

Dialga G Lv X can get X-Treme Attack'd though, which makes it sort of useless consider the main deck that would play Nidoqueen is Flygon. IMO go with Dusknoir or nothing at all.

    Ludicolous!

^How many Luxury Balls do you run? Because if you run 1, you should drop excess Weaviles for extra Luxury Balls/other things. Like Luxury Balls, Weaviles are great early game but useless late-game, but early-game a Luxury Ball gets you ANY pokemon you want, whereas if you had played a Weavile...

    Shadow Play: A Shuppet Article

I think this is a great article. Thank you for taking the time to type it up. It gives valuable insight onto the deck as well as a good list. Just a few things: 1) (not directed at Box of Fail, lol) Some people say the match-ups are wonky - You have to take into account all the games where...

    Beedrill or Gyarados?

They're so different, it's like comparing chalk and cheese.

What happened to the quality of Front Page Articles

I disagree that EVERY article is like that. Jayson's Regigigas article, Phazon Elite's FGD article and Box of Fail's Shuppet articles were really good. But apart from that not many others have been very good.

    FlyChamp

Yes, I suppose so. It's the best recent example I could come up with without resorting to old decks that people may or may not know about. Decks like Dragtrode, Flariados, Banette/Rainbow Energy/Jolteon* etc. all had proper synergy but I didn't want to mention them as people may not know what I...

    Help

Why can't people be grateful for advice given to them? Ryan's advice was helpful - you can't edit a deck without knowing what else is in there apart from trainers (regardless of wheter you are trying to fit in a trainer or not - you don't necessarily have to substitute trainer-for-trainer...
