Simple: the logistics may not merit the effort. T-shirts are just one small aspect of the entire weekend. By the time they got all the responses from everyone coming, there may not be enough time remaining to have them printed and shipped and quality assured and transported to the venue.

Well, I wouldn't think they would print a unique shirt size just for you. You'd have to choose from the available options. Now, if running out of a particular size is a concern, I suppose you'd have to just be one of the first in line.

I know it because I'm involved with the scheduling of events (along with other team leads for Worlds), and there is no allocated time for lunch breaks. We have permission to disseminate this information.

FYI, since many of you wanted to know ahead of time, there will be no scheduled lunch breaks at Worlds. Either on Friday during the LCQ, or Saturday during the Main Events. There are concessions planned on site, but if you want to pack a lunch, etc...plan ahead.

I disagree...they couldn't possibly worry about every single person that leaves! POP wants healthy attendance numbers for the events, and especially growth in the Junior/Senior demographic. If 2 new people join while 1 disgruntled person leaves, the net result is growth.

From the perspective of the program itself, if Organized Play believes they made the right decision instituting Best of 3 in Swiss, and people continued to show up and play this year (especially Master's paying for their own admission)...then really what other measureable metric matters than...
