LostGar Hype Discussion - IN HERE ONLY

Twins is a great card. VS Seeker makes it great too. Uxie/Seeker is an option, as you have suggested. Basically when the 1st Gengar Prime is online, it can "tank" for a while given a steady flow of Seekers and a spare line of Gastly/Haunter to Seek into. Whiff, and go for tomb and twins to...

Yucks man. What is up with such hands. Most of them probably won't land you T1 Gengar by a long shot. Perhaps hand #4, but you rely on a successful Uxie drop.

I tested at league and on skype. I don't know about RS... so you get repeats? Like 3 Communication, 2 Junk Arm, 2 VS Seeker one Azelf? o.O

LostGar Hype Discussion - IN HERE ONLY

I noticed you run the same Pokemon Communication and Rare Candy count as me with more BTS, yet you say you can't get set up fast, when I can explode with T1 Gengar fairly often. It's odd. Try the list out and see what happens. I might be doing something wrong with my playtesting, I'm not sure...

Thanks for the compliment on my list! My friend and I tweaked it after many games, and T1 Gengar isn't a rarity, barring trainer lock. I ran by your proposed modification and would say I won't miss my 3rd Lost World, and Mesprit is very welcome. I found it helps the mirror alot, by denying set...

    About Regigigas' Sacrifice.

Let's say I am using Regigigas Lv. X, and choose to use "Sacrifice" to knock out one of my own Pokemon. My opponent is entitled to a prize, but he refuses to draw it. Is this alright, or is it obligatory for him to take that prize?

LostGar Hype Discussion - IN HERE ONLY

Hi guys, thought I'd pop in and give some feedback. My friend and I have been developing a LostGar list in our spare time, and have playtested and refined it to the best of our ability. We have playtested against various metagame decks during two league sessions and skype and here are our...

Water Pokemon Trainer has basically summed up what I was about to say against you. So take a good look at it. Even Xicious has already conceded that he now believes that the reports of Lost World's existence in our English cards are reliable. So give it a rest. Lost World, and other...

I find it quite amusing that you are calling BS on something featured on the front page of a reliable website, namely Pokebeach. Couple that with the fact some people in this thread have mentioned of a similar encounter in their league weekends, and the fact that just about everyone else have...

    about fun decks

PDL + Zone + Floatzel GL. Spiritomb starts advisable to get a good set up. Prepare to let them take a prize lead, then go to town with Prize Infection mania! Pure fun when their prize slots are overloaded. Getting set up for the big bang's also a fun journey.

Reprints eh? If they were to reprint any Primes, I'd say reprint Gengar Prime. Goes well with a dash of the stadium everyone's been looking forward too, making CoL an epic set.

I disagree. Now I can have the Cyndaquil (GS) reprint that I have always wanted, with Quilava (GS) too! Woo now my Charizard deck is complete.

Donking, and why it is suddenly a big concern for the community

U MAD In other news, I hate getting donked. Especially in competitions. It's a reality that I have to deal with, but it is one I would rather not experience first hand.

    Any tips for SP decks?

@Kayle: Great answer man! To put it crudely, you have a multiform swiss army knife in LuxChomp, with a plethora of options and tricks you can pull with it to have an answer to what the meta throws at you, and what separates the men from the boys is the ability to utilize each and every tool, big...

    Any tips for SP decks?

Hmm... to play LuxChomp well. How does one define a "well-played" LuxChomp? I'm sure it is more than just getting not owned by mirrors and other decks. What traits define a good LuxChomp play? Why do you think only a few people can pull this deck off with the desired standard expected...

    Any tips for SP decks?

Hi, I am new to SP, and would like to know what is an effective way to playtest SP decks, if any, so that I can improve in using such decks? SP decks are complicated and hard to use properly, especially in the mirror. After getting owned in the LuxChomp mirror multiple times in the league...
