During setup, it has been established that you cannot change your active Pokemon once it is set. Are you able to pick up benched Pokemon before the game starts?

If the defending Pokemon is asleep and poisoned by Crobat (PLS-55)'s Ultra Toxic Fang poison, can the attacking player play Hypnotoxic Laser (PLS-123) since this would change the poison to normal poison?

Does devolution (from spray or punch) remove special conditions (sleep, poison, etc) from the pokemon? What about effects from previous attacks that were applied to the evolved pokemon?

If Shedinja (DXE) is placed on the bench as a result of Ninjask (DXE)'s ability Cast-off Shell can Shedinja be affected by devolution? e.g. Devolution spray or the effect of Golurk (DXE)'s Devolution Punch?

When devolution spray says 'That pokemon cannot evolve this turn' does it mean only that the pokemon that is left in play cannot evolve? Can you still evolve a different pokemon that was already in play at the start of the turn with the stage that was picked up?

If Shedninja was placed on the bench as part of Ninjask's Ability Cast-off Shell, could Devolution Spray be applied to it? I think not since it is not an evolved pokemon even though it is a Stage 1 pokemon.
