They looks exacxtly like final printed cards. The stock and finish is what I'm really trying to figure out.

I'm looking for more info on these. I aquired them from a friend that worked at WotC 99-04. So I know they are authentic. Just have no clue about the finish and card stock. They are all stamped 1st ED. 46 cards total german and italian. Any help would be awesome...
