September 7th 2003 Pokemon Tournament in Sturgis Michigan. The event will be held in the vacant building next to KB Toy Works in Sturgis. The address for the Tournament location is 895 S. Centerville Rd. Sturgis, MI 49091 Both locations are located in the Sturgis Plaza and there is plenty of parking. The cost is $10
Registration begins at 11am Michigan/Ohio time (10am Indiana/Illinois Time)
Play begins at Noon Michigan/Ohio time (11am Indiana/Illinois Time)
Sturgis is on the map below in white with blue border.
The format will be age modified Swiss. We will use the current modified format that Wizards of the Coast uses due to the fact Nintendo has no ruling for there cards. The only Nintendo cards that are allowed to be used are the ones that have been reprinted from past Wizards sets. We will not be using Nintendos new rules on flipping ect. like originally posted. We will go with completely Wizards rules to make it easier on the judges.

This list is subject to change due to the fact I haven't finished going through the stuff I have. Currently considering a request by PsycoDad on my post on the old board of spliting the age divisions which would cause me to have to split the prizes.
I will also be running the Pokemon Sandstorm Pre-Release Saturday September 6th, 2003 at the same location.
There are many hotels and places to eat in the area. I will post some of those and add them to this topic when I get the list complete. If there is any other information you would like or any questions/suggestions let me know. So, whos all coming?
Hotel Info
If you plan on getting a hotel you may want to book early. Notre Dame has there first home game that weekend and hotels are going fast. That is also why the rooms are so expensive. We are only about 30 miles from Notre Dame.

All these hotels are right off the 80/90 Indiana Toll Road except for the Knights Inn which is located right down the road closer to the tournament location. Even thought the hotels addresses don't show it, they are all actually on the same road as the tournament location. The Knights Inn is about 1/2 mile from it, the rest are about 2 miles away. I will try to get the other hotels info up once I get prices and phone numbers.
