So the weekend before, I had run Durant at Nebraska. I did ok, going 3-2 to some bad hands and placed 8th. Even though it won both seniors and masters, I wasn’t feeling to good with the deck. After the tournament, I was talking to some friends and they mentioned that Brit had played and “SD” at Tennessee and did fairly well with it. They said it was Landorus Terrakion. Sure enough I went home and saw that Landorus Terrakion had done well at some events. I quickly built the deck, and loved it at first sight.
The next day I went to league and play tested it. It did very well against all the decks there and had a somewhat decent matchup against CMT. I figured I’d give it a try because the senior metagame was Durant and Zekrom/Eel.
When I got to cache, there were a lot of people there. I talked to my friends, and found out what there were playing. Jared, Jack and Rachel had stuck with Durant from the previous states and Chad had decided to play that as well. Brit was playing Landorus/Terrakion too. I looked around and saw a ton of Zekrom. ☺ I talked to Vance and apparently he was either playing my deck, or Mees mew. I couldn’t figure out which one.
We had 30 Seniors, so some 4-1’s might miss cut.
BTW I am bad at remembering names.

Round 1 vs ??? w/ Zekrom Eel
First off, this was by far the closest game I had today.
I started good, with a turn 2 Landorus. He knew what I was playing, and went for his mewtwos. I got the turn two on a tynamo I think, but he quickly countered with mewtwo. We managed to prize trade, him with Mewtwo and me with Terrakions. After I Ko’ed the first one, he got a second one with Eviolite on it, however that was after I had done 90 to it.. When I sent up terrakion, I thought that I could just KO him with retaliate, and said it, then aksed if I could take it back upon realizing it didn’t do enough. He was nice and said sure, so I managed to get the plus power played to KO it. After that I think I just catcher KO’ed stuff FTW. GG

Round 2 vs Vance K. w/ mees mew
After the previous round, I had learned that Vance was for real and was running mees mew. When I saw him on my pairings, I asked around on how to beat him. Most people I talked to said I had no chance.
Any way, he went first and got turn one see off with collector. Unfortunately, he prized crobat so he went for Chandylure. I had a bad start, and attached to a benched landourus and PONTed to look for the switch to get my terrakion out of the active position. I whiffed and passed. He drew and like PONTed into two yanmega, and evolved both of his benched. Then, he used chandelures spread attack. It took me a few turns to get switch, by then most of my pokemon were up to 50+ damage…. I got it and KO’ed mew. He then used his two others to spread a little for a couple of prizes, but I managed to KO them as well and he prized a mew so all he had left were yanmegas. He were both even on prizes, but I had gotten my hand size down way low. I had only 2 Terrakions out. I started hitting him, and it took a few turns for him to be able to match my hand size. When he did he got a quick KO, and we were tied on prizes. I had one terrakion left and I had a landorus in deck, so I knew I could get it and EXP share and attach for turn, setting up two catcher Ko’s. I went for the landorus with dual ball, but it was prized. I KO’ed something, hoping for the landorus but whiffed. He then benched me on the next turn. ☹ GG

Round 4 vs IDK with IDK
It looked like a kyurem.deck, with some other big basics. I played lost removers so it took him a while to get energies. By then I had a big enough lead to out run him.

Unfortunately, Vance gets donked my Deema. But because of some shinnanigans I snuck in at 4th seed.
Top 4 vs Deema w/ Zekrom Eel
Since I made it in as 4th seed, I know I will be playing against the undefeated Deema with his Zekrom Eel deck. I asked around and found out that he did not play eviolite, so I knew this made the matchup easier.
Game 1
I started bad in this game, whiffing the turn two landorus. He however, quickly started setting up mewtwos and eels. I let him take a prize then I countered with terrakion and lost removers. I got it to 4-4. Then he KO’ed my terrakion with a mewtwo and set up his third. 4-3. I catchered up a benched eel and I saw he didn't have many resources left so I passes cuse I whiffed energy. At this point I only have two landorus, both with EXP share. He passes. I attach to benched and I only have like a 7 card deck, and I have juniper and two catchers left. I pokegear for juniper. I use plus power and hit him for 80. He passes. I attach and catcher up mewtwo, and hit him for 90. He KO’es me. 4-2. I attach to active and gia hammer for 3 prizes. 1-2. He ko’es me. I draw out my deck and get energy catcher FTW. GG

He started bad, and I basically took 6 prizes relatively easily. I KO’es some tynamos and then basically anything that he attached to. GG

Top 2 vs Jared L. w/ Durant
Game 1
He starts bad, and prizes ant. I start terrakion. He gets the mill for three. I attach and catcher rotom and pass. He passes. I attach and attack. He retreats and hits one crushing hammer, and whiffs one. Mills. I draw, attach and catcher rotom and KO it. He whiffs crushing hammer and mills. I PONT into stuff and attach and attack. He gets one more heads on crushing hammer, but it didn't matter because I had an energy in hand. GG. 2/5 for crushing hammer.

I get landorus start. He Junipers then mills for one. I mistakenly mill 4. The judges talk about it for 5 minutes and decide not to do anything. ;P And they didn't give Jared a time extension. He gets mills going, and flips ok on crushing hammer, but since I had Abundant harvest it was not a problem GG
