This card is too opponent-reliant for my tastes. I know the second I get one out, my opponent will just stop using his powers, or will time his powers so his pokemon don't get too hurt. I'd rather have something like Raichu or Bronzong that hit things with powers/bodies regardless if they are being used each turn.

But it's pretty easy to tech into any deck, especially with it having colorless attacks and not being a basic (not messing up starts), so I gotta give it credit there.

I actually disagree about it being an "east to tech" card Prime. The type & attack might lead you to think that but the difficulty in getting it out is what makes it very difficult to tech.

You have to use either Old Amber, which can't be searched for by anything but Mawile CG, or you have to use Holon Fossil which is flippy though searchable. It's easy to slip Aerodactyl into a Fossil deck that has all the proper support for finding Holon Fossil and actually does well by running that card anyway. However it's a pain in the tail to fit a reliable Aerodactyl line into just about any other kind of deck. You have to make a substantial commitment to this card or fossils in general to really make it work.

Well, I guess it's a little harder, but if you just celio for an aerodactlyl right before you play Holon Fossil (and have one still in the deck), you are guaranteed to get one onto the board. (this strategy mentioned in the Pokegym Podcast)

So how many draw cards are you going to add so that you can find the Holon Fossil ... or are you just going to run a bunch of Holon Fossils so that you can draw them when needed? Either way it takes a big space or draw commitment ... and that's not something that easy to do in all decks even with Claydol everwhere.

This card is so frickin awesome if you get 4 out then your opponent is in for it. I say team it up with
Empoleon from MD and DP and Lucario from DP for split damage:thumb:

pretty good but quick knock outing like T2 gg can screw up the plan, plus It takes a while to bring the fossil out so I wouldn't even bother. Not Bad, Not Awesome, Just good.

6/10

The resistance, retreat cost, and poke-body are all good. The HP is stage 1 average.

The attack is just not big enough, even with the flippy confusion.

Average. Modified: 6.5/10
