Well run tournament, really enjoyed it. Was nice that everyone got a free engraved dice and Great Ball mat for turning up, and the prize support was amazing. Shame numbers were a little on the low side but I know why and here's hoping it grows for next year.

Are theese numbers smaller or larger then normal? I am surpises at how small some of them are.

My Pokemon League store hosted a Battle Road last weekend and we had 14 juniors 16 seniors and 30 masters for 60 players. I a msurposed that our Battle Road tourement had more players then a lot of National Championships that have been held.

Mostly a little down but not a lot. Italy's attendance is the highest it has been over the past four years ( I wasn't keep track before 2009)

The slight drop so far is disappointing but not surprising. Cards cost anything up to twice what they do in the USA. Tournaments and league play are not free, Fuel and travel costs are much higher in Europe too. There is a great deal of job insecurity in Europe right now. every single one of those is a negative pressure on attendance.

@JandPDS: What would happen to your store's BR attendance if players had to pay $9 each to enter, and gas costs $6 per gallon?
