I'm glad this card came out, because now it's theoretically possible to do OVER 9000 damage with one attack!
As for its usage in the metagame, I'd give it a 2/10 - pretty useless...

2/10 because even through Keldeo is ever increasing in popularity this is useless as Magikarp but that might be because no one has ever tried a deck with this card...

The main problem with Vileplume is that it's an evolution. Very difficult to play and requires a large investment of space, like all stage 2s. The question is, does it's Ability (The only thing any Evolution is wanted for in this format) make the investment worth it? And right know our answer is, IDK, maybe. Theoretically you could tear apart your opponent's lineup by running a diverse group of attackers known as Big Basics/EXs and hit EVERYTHING on your opponent's side for their weakness (while hopefully NOT getting hit for yours, which Vileplume also quadruples). Seems like a great idea, but more of those Big Basics have attacks that are simply too strong to benefit much from Vileplume's Allergy Panic. I can think of some cases where it would work, but it's unheard of in the metagame and will only get more obscure come next set, when Weakness can be completely nullified. Maybe there's still hope, but for know all I can say is that this guy has 'potential' later on in the format.

When I first saw Vileplume's scan, I thought that it was a card that was going to see some play. The ability to hit for such a high damage output so easily is amazing. Once you put a Pluspower down, OHKOing an EX becomes rather easy. The only reason Vileplume decks aren't played, is because the deck cannot function without Vileplume out. If you opponent kills your Vileplume, or if you hit a dead hand, it is essentially game over. Perhaps this card will be more playable in the future, but for the time being, I really don't see it having much success at competitive tournaments.

3/10

Id say 4/10 just because it has a really unique effect. The card itself is slow and the attack isnt very good along with standard stats, but I think the ability can be useful. In the right match ups it can destroy the opponent, but this card is hard to bring out and doesnt offer much more than being like a Pluspower.

The art is great! But, the ability is terrible. Yes, it can be used to a certain advantage but otherwise, it could be the user's doom. The attack is pretty fair and it is also a decent attack. It does go quite well with the Amoongus/Ninetails metagame deck.

I give this a 4/10
