6.5/10 I have 2 of these things so I can play Keldeo/Blastoise/Black Kyurem and compared to the results they're receiving in big tournaments, I think this card is over-hyped like Lugia Ex.

I have yet to really dominate with this card. And I run two also.

The numbers and everything works out for it to be an awesome and dominating card. But it hardly ever turns out that way in matches.

7/10

8/10

I think Rayquaza does the job much better, but doing 200 damage is just too cool. And if you play the ace spec, you have a 300HP pokemon doing 200 damage.

6.5/10 at the moment. Because of the hefty discard condition, Black Ballista's 200 damage becomes less threatening. Rayeels is also a problematic matchup because Ray is efficient here whereas this guy gives a new definition to overkill there. But it is still capable of taking games with it under the right conditions and is a good ace to have in your sleeve. If you can give it a full tank, it destroys anything.

However, after Super Energy Retrival comes out to give it more consistency, the score will go to 7.5/10, and 8.5/10 if eels rotate on top of that.

I've ran two for a while and I've had a good amount of success with it. Its 180 HP keeps it away from the dreaded magic numbers of Darkrai, it can be searched out by Heavy Ball(also giving you another out to a Blastoise if necessary), and its weakness isn't a huge issue. The other dragon type that is really popular is Rayquaza EX, which OHKO's Black Kyurem EX with 3 lightning energy regardless of weakness anyway.

Getting this card set up is the matter, and that is usually due to having trouble finding the lightning energy. Having a lack of water energy is rarely an issue from my experience. To me, decks that include Black Kyurem are simply tight on space already; having to tech in cards against Garbodor and Klinklang on top of that sorely hurts its consistency.

I give this card an 8/10 for right now. I really like this card, and I don't feel the problem is with this card itself. Maybe when Plasma Freeze and Super Energy Retrieval comes out, this card will really shine.
