About Using Coins in World Championship

Hello, everyone.
I just read this Japanese article.
It said,"There are no rules in Japan or overseas that prohibit the practice of throwing coins, so it is not a bad act to practice putting out coins (even basketball players do many exercises to score goals). But it is prohibited to use coins at the World Championships."(日本、海外のルールでコインを投げる練習を禁止するものはないので、コインでオモテを出す練習をすることが悪い行為とは言えませんが(バスケットの選手だって、ゴールを決める練習を何本もしますしね♪)、世界大会でコインを使うことは禁止にしています。)

I search the Tournament Rules Handbook and the Internet.
But I can't find any other resource to prove that there is a rule prohibited to use coins at the World Championships.

So I just want to check whether it is prohibited to use coins at the World Championships or not.
And if there is a rule prohibited to use coins, where can I find the rule?

I really want to know the answer of this question.
I am looking forward to that someone can answer it.

Thank you very much.

Rules about the use of coins at World Championships would not be a "Game Rule" but a "World Championship Tournament Rule". As such it applies to that tournament, and not necessarily to any other event. Therefore, it would not be referenced in general documents, but in the tournament documents or in a tournament announcement. TPCi has in past major tournaments specified rules for randomizers like coins or dice that apply to just a specific event. Perhaps @Big Daddy Snorlax or @PokePop would like to comment.

I don't recall there being any prohibition on coins at Worlds.
However, "throwing" coins, the art of getting the coin to come up heads and remove randomization, is forbidden in all Organized Play (including Worlds) that is run by TPCi.
Per the tournament guidelines, Coin flips must be done from shoulder height and there must be at least 3 full rotations.
This is to prevent gaining an advantage from "practicing".

Thanks for the response.

The answers solve my question. : )

Hmm... So there is not a rule prohibited to use coins at the World Championships.

Make a note:

The rule about coin flips can be checked in tournament rules handbook.
And TPCi defines what is a legal coin flips but not limits to use it in tournament rule.

The statement from the Japanese article looks like a rumor.

Maybe the writer incorrectly explain the fact of almost all players will use dice at WCS, and then generating the false conclusion.

I think this question may not be really important to PTCG international version. (There are few players use coins in WCS)

But I still want to check if the rumors is true.
(Because at Traditional Chinese version tournament in Taiwan, the main randomizer is coin, just like Japanese PTCG rule)

So I really appreciate for the response. Thank you very much : )
