well this just hasn't been my week, so i wasn't really expecting too much, but i knew that i had a great deck, so i guess i had a little optimism.....
i wake up at like 6:30 because my allergies have been driving me absolutely nuts lately for quite some time..... so after some more sleep, i wake back up at 9:00 and eat breakfast..... after some phone tag with chaddy (PSYDUCK), we decide to just go down together, instead of driving seperately....
we get there at around 11, and help vince (meg45) get everything set up....... and we tell everyone else that i was playing swampert/cune ex and chaddy was playing gardy, which of course we weren't, but the guys knew that we were lying and wouldn't tell
1st round vs precon (flygon/magneton)
well i knew that i can beat this deck, but he busts out vibrava and flips 5 straight heads and kos my ninetails and a sparce, but i finally get out 2 blaze, 1 bex and 1 ninetails, and i run through shortly after

2nd round vs anthony (dragonite, magneton, TA lanturn)
well i get a beautiful setup and anthony only got 2 lanturns, so it wasn't really pretty

3rd round vs Pat aka NIKEPK (sceptile/muk ex)
well i get set up beautifully and the worst thing was that twice in a row, pat played 2 oracles, and during my turn, i'd shaman him, which led to some hilarious rantings by pat (sorry pat, i tried to keep a straight face)

4th round vs Colin aka SWANTON1717 (gardy)
well we just ID, but play a game just for fun...... i start out with ditto and conveniently colin starts with wynaut, which really helps me get set up....... after i get 3 blaze out and a 9tails out, colin kos tails with gardy ex, but he has 6 damage on it, so i draw, catty, and play a torchic, candy and a bex, charge 3 times, attach, retreat and ko gardy in one turn...... in the end, i win

5th round vs ben aka furiouszangoose (RAMBO)
once again, we ID and play a fun game, tho it wasn't too fun since i couldn't get a card for my life and i lose rather quickly

well we cut to top 8 and the pairings are something like

me vs pat
colin vs ???
roy vs anthony
quarters vs pat
game 1 - well i start off with a sparce, he starts off with a sparce and neither of us get nrg.... i get tons of draw cards, he doesn't........ so i get all the pokes set up, but no nrg still, and he is still sitting there with like 1 nrg total........ i finally start to get nrg and end up winning

game 2 - well i don't get a sparce, and pat gets set up with 3 muk ex, so i was hurting from the beginning and never recover

game 3 - haha, i get a sparce and pat was unable to get a muk when it really mattered, game over i win
2-1
well colin, roy and john all win so here we are for the top 4
by now, i am so tired and things got rather fuzzy, so bare with me
semis vs colin
game 1- well i get set up faster than he does, and i run through him

game 2- vice versa, i don't get a single thing that could help

game 3- well this was a pretty good game, but in the end, niniken just lasts longer than gardy can
i win 2-1
finals vs john (bex/ray)
game 1- this was a close game the entire time, he goes up on prizes 3-1, but i bust out ditto and ko his ray in one turn....... it comes down to 1-1 prizes, but he is able to pull it off

game 2 - well i get a beautiful setup and he only gets a combusken, he oracles, but i shaman and turn 3 bust out a powered 9tails for the win

game 3 - well i was really hoping for a great start, which was not the case.... my opening hand was this: skitty, 2 blaze, 2 combusken, 1 candy and 1 TV......... not the start u want....... he has a chance for a turn 2 kill with ray, but he can't get the multi/lightning........ i spend the rest of the time catching up and he beats me 6-3

well i take 2nd and get 27 packs (we agree to split the packs, since packs weren't the issue)
well in the end, i was upset with my final game, but nothing that i could do

-pat: i'll admit it pat..... against u i tecHeD in 4 extra sparce and shamans,
