OK, in many of my E-on decks, I've been using Ancient Ruins as alternate draw. Few people actually suggest I take it out when I do use it, but it hasn't been showing up in many decks other than my own. I'm wondering why this is. So, please post here how useful a card you think Ancient Ruins to be, and why. Personally, I've found some interesting combos for Ancient Ruins. Examples: Pokémon like Clefable or Furret. If you have extra Supporters in your hand, shuffle them in with their Powers, and you can still get a card from AR. Oracle. One of my personal favorites these days. I do kinda wish I had more than one Delcatty (after all, it is a faster combo with Oracle, among other things), but until I get it, this is one of the best combos I can make with Oracle. One turn, Oracle two cards to the top of your deck. Next turn, as long as you haven't been Shamaned or something like that, you can get both Oracled cards in the same turn. I often make a Supporter card number 2, so that I'll have a good one to use. For me, the main appeal of Ancient Ruins is that it's the only card in Modified that lets you draw cards (I'm not counting search), but isn't a Supporter.
