Ancient Trait Omega Barrage and Confusion

A Pokemon with the ancient trait Omega Barrage is confused.

If the player tries to attack, does the player flip for confusion for each attack?

Does a result of "tails" on the confusion check for the first attack prevent the Pokemon from attacking a second time?

You would flip for Confusion for each attack independently.
A tails on the first attack would not prevent you from attempting the second.
