Here's my fix for the deck...

Pokemon: 14
3 Ho-oh(non holo rev)
3 Cleffa
1 Pichu
1 Tyrogue
2 Sentret
2 Furret (AQ)
1 Suicune (Legendary Body)
1 Raikou (legendary Body)

Trainers: 27

4 Oracle
4 Bill
4 Mary
3 Double gust
2 Copycat
2 Gold Berry
2 Focus Band
2 Professor Elm
2 Town Volunteers
2 Energy Stadium
1 Switch

Energy 18
3 Water
3 Grass
3 Fighting
3 Fire
3 Lightning
3 Psychic
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think it'll work a bit more solid like this. I dropped down on Elm, mainly because I think the Oracle/Bill/Mary will work a LOT better in this. You need to be able to get certain energy... as well as certain cards when you need them, and that is like a double computer search.
The Furret I put in so you can pull out any energy you need to basically get that added 10 damage plus power type thing and do as much damage as you need to do to KO a threatening Pokemon. Hope this helps!
If you're going to add a card that searches for Energy, play Expedition Clefable instead of Furret, since you're only taking Basic Energy. That way you only shuffle in 1 card instead of 2.
Here's what I think it should look like:
Pokemon: 15
3 Ho-oh (NH Rev)
3 Cleffa (make 1 Promo if you want, to take advantage of Oracle)
2 Clefairy (EX)
2 Clefable (EX)
2 Tyrogue
2 Pichu
1 Mew (Promo)
Trainers: 27
3 Elm
2 Copycat
4 Oracle
3 Bill
3 Mary
2 Gold Berry
2 Focus Band
2 Energy Switch (Saves a turn and surprises people. Definitely keep it.)
3 Double Gust
2 Energy Stadium
1 Town Volunteers
Energy: 18
3 Fighting Energy
3 Fire Energy
3 Grass Energy
3 Lightning Energy
3 Psychic Energy
3 Water Energy
It's a rough sketch, but I think it can work. (I was at that first SBZ, but I never got to see you actually playing. Obviously it went well.)
HOWDY RON! :clap: lol. I didn't know the Clefable did the same thing basically but for basic energy... that's a good idea! :) :thumb: The energy switch is good I guess... I've never seen it played and it didn't sound all that great to me... but the more I think about it the more I think it's decent. The Cleffa idea ain't bad either... never thought of that! :eek:
Id go with something like rons but Id do this...
-2 energy switch
-3 Mary
-1 Energy Stadium
+1 Bill
+1 Elm
+1 DBG
+1 Copycat
+2 Trader
Every deck needs traders oracle engine or not I still think trader is pretty dang good ;\
Bill is just flat out better then mary in this deck so I would max out on it
You still did some solid hand randomization so I decided to up the elm and cat counts
DBG is what kills thier main hitter while its sitting on the bench so you can gain the advantage and kill it so I decided to max out on it. Well good luck with the deck hope it works for you.
New board new rules new cards :)
So how about that Lady Outing then ... gotta be better to search for 3 different energy cards than energy search for 1 ;)
Rainbow Burn yeah :thumb:
Not forgetting Lady Outing and Politoad .. mmmmmmm :clap:
I like Ho-oh :). Ex Ampharos is very good in this deck. You can go through the first few turns putting energy on babies and stuff, evolving your mareep into ampharos, then boom. When you have 4 energy or more in play you put down ho-oh, energy connect the energy to it, and take your opponent by surprise and start beating them down. When Ho-oh takes lots of damage you can use switch, then connect the energy to a baby and do pokecenter, then put back in ho-oh with his energy back.
2 Ho-oh L44
3 Cleffa
4 Mareep L18
3 Flaaffy EX
3 Ampharos EX
3 Pichu
2 Energy Stadium
4 Copycat
3 Pokemon Center
4 Double Gust
2 Pokemon Fan Club
3 Pokemon Trader
4 Focus Band
4 Professor Elm
2 Switch
4 Lightning Energy
2 Grass Energy
2 Fire Energy
2 Psychic Energy
2 Fighting Energy
2 Water Energy
If you're going to play it like that... you might as well do this...
Add in rainbow energy... and add in the Aquapolis Suicune/Entei (ones with power... they look useless but in this they're GOOD!) as well as the Neo2 lugia and maybe a strong grass Pokemon... this way... you counter EVERY type. My friend used to play this... it works well. :thumb:
If you're really feeling adventurous, try comboing the Ho-oh with Harvest Bounty Venusaur, in order to power it up quicker.
