    This deck can fight against kingdra ex's weaknesses, which are ampharos ex and the future sceptile ex.

    19 pokemon
    ==========
    4 horsea (2 uncommon, 2 common)
    3 seadra (1 water arrow, 2 waterfall)
    2 kingdra ex
    1 kingdra (AQ)

    3 nincada (double scratch)
    2 ninjask
    1 shedinja

    3 meditite

    18 energy
    ========
    11 water
    3 boost
    2 rainbow
    2 multi

    23 trainers
    ========
    2 energy switch (important)
    2 crystal shard
    2 pokemon nurse
    2 potion
    2 moo moo milk
    3 copy cat
    2 oak's research
    2 TV reporter
    3 switch
    1 town volunteers
    1 high pressure system
    1 low pressure system

    I'm not sure if I should take out the two stadiums for 2 strength charm because once ampharos ex has at least 50 damage (water arrow 40 + 10 from strength charm), I can suddenly play meditite from my hand, attach an energy, then use energy switch and do 120 damage to ko ampharos ex. I find meditite pretty useful to clean my surprised opponent's pokemon (especially pokemon ex) off once their pokemon have enough damage. With 1W and 1 boost, kingdra ex can do 70 damage and then I can finish it up with meditite. Ninjask and shedinga are for gardevoir ex and the future sceptile ex as they're both weak to grass type, again, next turn I can use meditite to finish them off when they have at least 70 damage (quick touch 30+ strength charm 10). Crystal shard is to get around with sceptile's water resistance. Do you think this deck will work?

    It's the rare ninjask. I can use its power to play shedinja right away. Then I use quick touch then switch to shedinja so that my opponent can't hit me.

    meditite? Isn't Solrock better? or even my own faves of Ryhorn/Rhydon or Swinub/Piloswine all are resistant to electric.

    BTW what does Sceptile EX do?

    IMO, meditite is better because it takes FC to power up its attack (it does 10 damage plus 10 more for each damage counter on the defending pokemon). It can give your opponent a surprise better than any other pokemon. It's possible to do more damage than solrock.

    I forgot what sceptile ex exactly does but here is what I remember from nick15's spoiler.

    150hp
    weakness: grass/fire
    resistance: water

    G: remove 4 damage counters from all pokemon with grass energy??

    GCC: 40 the defendinig pokemon is poisoned and can't retreat next turn

    GGCCC: 100 sceptile ex can use this attack next turn

    So ninjask can do 60 damage to sceptile ex (or gardevoir ex) with only 2 colorless energy due to weakness. When sceptile has 70 damage, meditite can do 10+70 = 80 damage to sceptile in one turn and ko it if I use energy switch. That's why I want to use strength charm so that ninjask can do 70 damage.

    I like energy switch as a trainer too. :D But with only two of them in your deck I wouldn't have thought that you would be able to pull off the Meditite surprise that easily. Its much more likely that you will have to play Meditite to the bench and possibly even leave it with an energy attached just waiting for all the hunters out there to take it out and claim a prize. Ceratinly if I saw a meditite I'd want to take it out and claim my prize as quick as possible.

    Oh and I'm a fan of Crystal Shard too ;) Not sure if my endorsement is a good thing or bad though LOL!

    Even if I have to play meditite to the bench, it'll be safe anyways because there're no GOW, DG or anything like that.

    How about

    -1 copycat
    +1 energy switch?

    Because there's only one AQ kingdra. I think I'll drop 1 energy switch and add copycat back. I'm thinking of putting in Wally's training so that I can play kingdra ex/AQ the same turn I play seadra to evolve horsea. It can give my deck some searching power too.

    Electabuzz : pick a benched pokemon and do 40 damage to it!
    Seadra's Water Arrow

    .... and many more ....

    The bench isn't a safe place to be for low HP pokemon.

    Meditite can survive, it has 50hp. Besides, I want put it on my bench until middle of the game. Hopefully I'll have either AQ kingdra played or an energy switch in my hand by then.

    Here's the updated verion

    19 pokemon
    ==========
    4 horsea (2 DR uncommon, *2 common AQ reverse thrust*)
    3 seadra (2 water arrow, 1 waterfall)
    2 kingdra ex
    1 kingdra (AQ)

    3 nincada (double scratch)
    2 ninjask
    1 shedinja

    3 meditite

    17 energy
    ========
    10 water
    3 boost
    2 rainbow
    2 multi

    23 trainers
    ========
    2 energy switch (important)
    2 crystal shard
    2 pokemon nurse
    2 potion
    2 moo moo milk
    3 copy cat
    2 oak's research
    2 TV reporter
    3 switch
    2 strength charm
    1 town volunteers
    1 low pressure system

    I may go to a tournament someday in the future. I hope this deck can at least do a decent job against the most popular decks around, like gardevoir ex, blaziken, ampharos ex etc (I know the chance of my deck winning is low). I'm still deciding which seadra's better, water arrow is very useful sometimes. I really want to put wally's training so that not only I can search for kingdra ex but can also evolve seadra into kingdra ex the same turn I evolve horsea into a seadra. I can't find space for it though.

    Take the low pressure system, Tv reporter out and replace it by 2 wally's training and 1 Multi NRG/Rainbow(Whatever you like more)

    Hope this Helps
