Yes, yes, I know that the school year just ended but I am already spotting many Pokemon-themed school-related items around town and I wanted to share them here to make sure all of the kiddos have a chance to get them.

Hot Topic (stores and online) have a variety of school supplies. I have seen a journal, planner, pens, folders, shirts, zipper pulls, etc. Unfortunately for me the best for my elementary-aged students are the planner and folders but they are very pink and not right for my boys. I'm thinking of getting the planner anyway as it appears to be a standard size and I can get replacement pages at Office Max or the like.

Also, at KB Toys last week, we spotted a new Pokemon insulated lunch bag and backpack. There appear to be 2 sizes of the backpack. I will try to post some pics of these later.

Finally, we found a new t-shirt in the boys section of Wal-mart. It is short-sleeved red with a glow-in-the-dark group Pokémon design on the front. They had sizes XS-XL which I would estimate is about boys sizes 4-16.

If anyone else spots items, please let us know!

Too bad we don't get any of this stuff here. I hear Target and Wal-Mart have spiral notebooks, too! I'd love to use Pokémon stationery at university. :(

I was at KB Toys yesterday and they didn't have anything. :frown: Looks like I may have to do some online shopping.

If I didn't buy lunch at school everyday, I would have to buy the lunchbag:p

Actually, I bought extra lunch bags last year because they are a great size for carrying a deck or two plus supplies to league.

I've been keeping an eye out on the Pokemon stuff at hot topic. I keep wanting to buy the stuff and I'm like.....hmmmm.....too much pink. Though I have been hearing that Target is getting stuff in. I have to go to Toys R us today as well, and they have the free lunch bag with the backpacks again, so I'm gonna see if they have any pokemon ones.

Any luck at Toys 'R Us? I saw the backpack ad in Sunday's circular but I won't be anywhere near it until league night on Thursday.

Duh, decided to check online and they have the same deal and the very first backpack to show on the list is Pokemon!

Hi, Everyone! Back to School shopping has officially started since the sales have started at the stores. We found a few more items today that may interest everyone (not just the JR division and their parents) - Pokemon Spiral Notebooks and Pokemon Pencils. The Spiral Notebooks were found at Target and we found 4 different covers. The pencils were found at Wal-mart. The pencils each feature a character printed on the pencil and a matching figure on top of the pencil. The packaging states 'Collect all 32' though we only selected 4. All of these items were $1.99 each.

I am uploading images in the gallery of everything Pokemon that we have found for Back to School this year.

We found at our Toys R Us the round pokeball lunch bag with Darkrai on it, and 2 styles of backpack (Dialga/Palkia and the Sinnoh starters). They also had on Clearance (for little fans) tshirts and pjs. My 7 year old was most excited with the DP boxer briefs.

I agree that the Hot Topic stuff is a bit too pink, but maybe for me???

I'm heading to Target tomorrow to get supplies for school and to fill bday goodie bags! Thanks for the tips!!

The Walmart in my area ALWAYS has Pokemon school items in stock all year round. Bags, lunchboxes, pencils, pencil boxes, you name it, they probably have it.

Though... actually using Pokemon gear for school was sooo 3rd grade.

Hahahaha, some of us are shopping for 3rd graders or in my case 5th and 2nd. :thumb:

What part of the world/country do you live in? My kids would love it if they could find that kind of stuff all year round.
